    Default Jerry Sloan Passed Away

    https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...an-dies-age-78

Given his Hall of Fame career indivisible from John Stockton, I think it's Zag relevant, but I'm also biased as a Jazz fan.

That is eerie timing, given the last two episodes of Last Dance Sunday and re-airing of Game 6 two nights ago

Towards the end of John's 19 year career, I mentioned to him that I was not sure there had ever been a better,
match-made-in-heaven partnership of Coach & Player, than Sloan & Stockton... two tough, hard-nosed,
fiercely competitive, selfless, team-first winners. In the 19 years they worked together in Utah, The Jazz won
more regular season games than any other franchise in the NBA... and of course they had a couple of near
misses in the NBA Finals. R.I.P. Coach Sloan... grateful to have known you... You will certainly be missed.
