    Hitting Tavour stash...

French Toast Imperial Stout by Hubbard's Cave out of the Chicago metro area.

Second of two that I had. Yes... it tastes like french toast.

With maple syrup? 'Cause I had some amazing maple syrup flavored stuff at a local watering hole last year.

Not really. Mostly vanilla, cinnamon and brown sugar overtones. I went in skeptical... but dang good stuff. This Tavour thing is dangerous, but man you get some solid beers from really small brewers from all over the country.

My Friday required something a little stiffer, but still easy to drink; Wathen’s with a little ice.

    Nice!

I love their regular pale ale too. It's as good as anything, but underrated probably because of its ubiquity.

It's light and refreshing. Goes well with pretzels and german sausage.

I like really like the Freemont head full of dynamite series. I have the last two in the fridge waiting for a nice day off. The knob creek rye is also a great .

I'm trying 3 new from 10barrel along with the apocalypse.
