Welcome Mr Suggs. Bring your "Zag Mentality". This quote made me cringe...

“They’ve always just been missing that one big superstar, that one big missing piece. I feel like I’d come in, fill that role and bring the Zags to a championship,” Suggs says. “And I tell you what, I definitely don’t want to leave Spokane without one.”

...and a father who likes to get his name in the paper...

“We haven’t talked to anybody,” said Larry Suggs, Jalen’s father. “Just like everybody, the whole world is shut down, and people called and wanted to have interviews, but it’s different than talking in person.”

The elder Suggs couldn’t rule out the possibility of that changing, but added, “It’s basketball and it’s a business. Right now when people call me, we’re Gonzaga Bulldogs. There’s nothing to really debate about, but if somebody came up with something, we’d listen.”

This is a program built around the team not an individual. Few and Lloyd must know what they are signing up for.

Great interview with Jalen Suggs by Brenna Greene.

Soooo pumped to see Jalen in a Zag uniform next year and forever.

Also glad he connects with his fans on Twitter and Instagram rather than listening to some of the stuff I’ve been reading on here. 95% of Zag fans have nothing but joy to share with him. The cranky 5% seem to come here to try and take some of the spotlight away from an absolute marvel of an athlete who deserves every bit of hype and hope and excitement surrounding him that he gets and accepts and takes on as a challenge.

Few likes warriors, not victims. Gotta love that he wants the target on our back and the #1 ranking. That’s the attitude that will take us to our first championship. Not this “little old Gonzaga with small enrollment and why even bother trying to recruit against the big boys ah schucks I just like watching the kids grow into nice young men” bit some of you trot out.

Suggs is ultra competitive and is exactly the type of leader that goes perfectly with Coach Few. He’s exactly what we need. Gonzaga has evolved into our wildest dreams. Wake up and enjoy it or go back to sleep.
