Louisville landed a surprise commitment late Sunday night from a high-scoring grad transfer from the West Coast.

Charles Minlend, a 6-foot-4 wing who spent the past three seasons at San Francisco, committed to the Cardinals. He'll have one season of college eligibility remaining.

Tough break for the Dons and for the WCC as a whole.
