Hoping that things get on track -- so that the boys can have a season.

Tennessee shut down its men’s basketball program due to a COVID outbreak and will no longer face off against Gonzaga on Dec. 2.

Zags lose one of their marquee nonconference games. Tennessee has extended its shutdown due to COVID-19 concerns and won't travel to Indianapolis for Dec. 2 game vs. Gonzaga.

A third Baylor game reportedly canceled. Would mean the Bears could end up opening their season against Illinois in the Jimmy V Classic.

we're going to see that this year. I wonder if the kids were clinically ill or just had a positive test. In this age group, that marginally symptomatic with a positive test group are rampant.... major concern. Dang!

It's not the kids, its the staff. Phil Fulmer came down with it and others athletic staff are sick, too.

Looks like we have replaced Tennessee with our old friends from Morgantown.

Where's all the SMC apologists today? Boat raced and it was never competitive. And Memphis looked average.

That thing's gotta be nothing but a dried out skeleton by now. Pulling a year old quote from another thread? Really? This is the kind of stuff that makes me a former poster.

"Perseveration..... is the repetition of a particular response.... regardless of the absence or cessation of a stimulus. It is usually caused by a brain injury or other organic disorder. Symptons include "lacking ability to transition or switch ideas appropriately with the social context..."

I have info on the 4 upcoming Kennel games, gleaned from the other school's athletic websites:

    Dec 8 -- Tarleton St -- 6 pm -- ROOT
    Dec 10 -- Southern U -- 6 pm -- ROOT
Dec 12 -- NAU -- 7:30 pm -- no TV listed, I assume it will be ROOT, maybe FOX Sports AZ as well
Dec 14 -- Idaho -- 6 pm -- no TV listed, ROOT most likely

Great athlete, great size. Figured he'd be a challenge for us this year. Hopefully this is the last of his injury woes.

We are not scheduled to play them until Jan 23rd. Worst case scenario is that we just play another WCC foe that day.
