Wasn't sure if I should post this here, or in the 2020/21 WCC Schedule thread, so here it is. I did not see it posted previously.

Pope was the main reason they did so well last year...he was able to convince them to play "D"...last year was their year as it was ours too...IMO
Pope will do well in that environment and think he will stay for years to come...great for GU and the WCC...the better they are the better we become...

That makes 2 Neutral events that will feature both Gonzaga and BYU. One in Phoenix (Gonzaga vs TT, BYU vs ASU) and one in Portland (Gonzaga vs USC, BYU vs Oregon). That makes potentially 5 events that we will be interacting with BYU fans: These 2 events, the in season H-H, and the WCC tournament. Luckily I've only had positive experiences with their fans.

Pope in this offseason brought in Matt Haarms from Purdue, Caleb Lohner from Utah, and now Brandon Averette from UVU (previously Oklahoma State). They also have a couple of decent looking recruits coming in as well. BYU may not actually be taking a step back at all.

Minnesota guard BJ Greenlee just committed to San Diego, a source tells @RivalsPortal.
Fifth high-major transfer pickup for the Toreros this spring.
I take nothing nor anyone on this forum seriously in any form or way. It is no more or less than a satirical board until legitimacy is restored.

As expected, Yves Pons is set to return to Tennessee for his final season in Knoxville. Sean Farnham broke the news this afternoon, reporting that Pons has withdrawn his name from the 2020 NBA...
Pons back for Tennessee. This is the game I'm looking forward to the most this year... at least until the final four.
