    Default ESPN Tourney Simulation

ESPN did a fun BPI-based single-simulation tournament. Spoiler alert: "In fact, all three WCC teams to earn a berth are on to the second weekend.”

Yale Prevented what would have been a BYU vs Gonzaga rematch in the Elite 8? Ya right.

Their first BYU blurb calls them underrated in their system. They then proceed to advance them to the national championship. Did BPI really like BYU that much this season?

Look for a Mormon from Yale behind the ESPN screen.

BYU in the Championship Game? Please...….Not a chance...….Refs would expose them for the hackers they are and they are too streaky to make it to the Sweet 16 in my opinion. Am I wrong?

    1. No way St Mary's makes it to Sweet 16.
    2. No way BYU makes it to the NCAA Championship game. Most rediculous thing I've ever seen in sports.
    3. No way Yale beats the Zags. Who ever put this simulated tournament together is really ignorant imo.

    Burn this thread!!!

While not likely, I think BYU could have been a final 4 team with the matchups this simulation gave them. They were the best 3 point shooting team in the country, and they play intense defense. Come March refs let teams play more, not less which would have favored aggressive (not hacking) defense like BYU. Do I think Yale beats us? No. Would BYU beat us if we played again? Who knows, we didn't look very good in Provo against them.

Zach Collins & the '17 Zags may beg to differ (though technically I guess it was April).
This post is for March Madness seeding purposes only.
