Self REFUSES to play us (seriously). Besides, KU has the history, the tradition, "Beware the Phog," and the waving of the paper bags. They are the greatest BB program to ever exist and any coach there is the greatest coach of all time.

Bill Self is just looking for another excuse to get his rented Harley, put on his rented leathers, and ride/walk the Harley across the red carpet in the "Phog."

Why should we give Kansas credibility by trying to schedule them? Obviously, my preference for home and homes is to seek out Texas schools. Baylor, SMU, and TCU are my top 3. Baylor is obviously my first choice, and there are two fantastic Czech Kolache bakeries just north of Waco, in the town of West.

SMU and TCU had disappointing seasons, too.

I do remember back when GU was recruiting JP Batista to come to GU. I had heard he also met with Self---I believe he was at Kansas, but don't remember. In any event, JP apparently was guaranteed all kinds of playing time, etc. but really didn't trust Self. He came to GU, spent a couple of days here, met with the coaching staff and that was it.
