Nice try. I wonder if they will give each player and coach a set amount of tickets. Who determines who is in and who is out?

Agree! Reward for being a #1 seed. That would take away some of the sting.

I agree but where else would they play? Rogers High School?

The women already do, I don't see it as much of a stretch whatsoever.

Honestly, I'm sure there was/is/will be a lot of pressure to simply cancel it.

Among the possible outcomes, this isn't the worst one.

NCAA tournament will be played with no fans present. Link.

Oops, sorry. Didn't see this was already posted. It'll be strange to play in front of nobody.

Seems to me better to be playing in Spokane with no fans than not at all, or being shipped off elsewhere. This ought to be similar to the team's scrimmages against Michigan State.

I guess you have to agree that this is the smart move to make or you will be censored on this board for having a different opinion.

Without fans in the stadiums, and with wanting to minimize travel, I think we will see much much more geographic clustering in the brackets

Here's who I think the west bracket will include (teams taken from Bracket Matrix). Almost half WCC+Pac12. There are 9 teams combined between the Pac12 and WCC. Add in the mountain west (2) and Eastern washington (1, big sky) and if the committee really bumbed some seed lines for geography, the west bracket could be very very "west".

    1- GU
    2- SDSU
    3- Oregon
    4- MSU
    5- BYU
    6- MI
    7- Colorado
    8- SMC
    9- USC
    10-ASU
    11- Stanford
    12- SF Austin
    13- NM State
    14-Bradley
    15-Eastern WA
    16- Prairie View A&M

I'm curious what your opinion is. Were you censored? Would you be able to write it again or message me? I'm interested in various viewpoints. Are you an MD? (specialty?)

Huge knee jerk reaction from NCAA. Wow games being played today with stadiums full.

There are plenty of other sites on the internet where the prudence of government policies can be discussed. Let’s keep this site for discussing impacts on Zags basketball and their championship run.

This was not a government policy. It was Ncaa.

Fine, it still needs to go elsewhere.

    Thanks

I am disappointed by this decision but not surprised.
Close family only? We will see. Any bets on how many Instagram celebrities, Twitter influencers and sketchy AAU coach / athletic shoe promoters will figure out a way to get in? The first time I see a CBS "sideline reporter" interviewing Spike Lee or a Kardashian sister at one of these "family only" games, I will throw my television into the Columbia River.

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
