GU vs San Francisco (WCC Tourney) - Predictions/Thoughts/What you do hope to see

Zags face USF on Monday. Will USF finally break through and beat the Zags? They have played them tough in both meetings this year? Or will the Zags, with more than a week's rest come in ready run?

What are you hoping to see against the Dons? What are you expecting to see? Thoughts? Predictions?

I feel like the Zags will come out with more fire in the first half than they did in the first two meetings. It might be close for awhile, but I think we win running away...

The pesky 3 pointer keeps them closer than I would prefer.

I will be curious to watch jimbo. In both games he’s picked up early fouls somewhat limiting his p.t. I actually think , in my uneducated opinion, zags have looked better when he is on the court. Their coach seems to think we have no one who can guard him but as another poster pointed out after one of the earlier games, I think jimbo can’t guard our bigs. I expect early fouls from him again. Will be interested to watch.

I think it’s time for a USF beatdown with the Zags scoring at least 90. Killian’s good on 3s at the Orleans!

            USF 74

I want to see 7 Zags in double figures Greedy me!
The Mrs & I are just about to board our flight to Everett then Vegas.
The Spokane airport is a wee bit slim on travelers this AM. It’ll be interesting to see how crowded Vegas is. We’ve heard a few events there have been cancelled.

As I sat in the BYU section drinking a beer and watching their women lose, I thought attendance was down. But what a great way to spend an afternoon!! Schadenfreud.

Are they selling beer in the arena this year?

82-62 in favor of our Zags.

All i'm looking for in this game is a W. What I'm hoping for is fewer turnovers than we've had lately. I'd like to see us taking care of the ball better. Other than that I'm a huge fan of the Ninja Shooters. I'd love to see them hitting bulls eyes.

                    Go Zags!!!

                      89-74. Zags win.

Hope we come out quickly and are up by 20 at the half. We need a convincing win. No injuries. Defense must be strong.
