Ontzag, not sure if such herisy should be met with a lynching, drawn and quartered, crucifixion, or banishment. Since I'm not a moderator...

Not rooting for the Dons in any way shape or form. That being said... I could see them getting to the round of 32 if they were in it.... that'd probably be the ceiling for them. JMHO, I could definitely see SMC and BYU getting to the S16 depending matchups.

A good contest. No injuries. A semi-easy victory.

I would like to change my prediction:

    Gonzaga77 San Francisco 63

After seeing how well San Francisco has been playing in the Oreleans Arena I need to change my opinion of how the game will go. They won their two games by margins of 29 ad 18 points. Beating Pacific by 18 points is pretty impressive.

Hope i'm wrong, but think the long layoff could lead to a slow start tonight for GU. Expect another strong 2nd half though and Zags pull out the "W". I'd like to see Timme play his best game of the season to this point, he's capable of being a difference maker against USF. Also, let's take care of the ball better ... This is going to be a tough game, they have played us exceedingly tough each time, have team speed that bothers us, especially at guard, and we haven't shot well against them (Tillie! Time).

Nothing changes, they are playing for a possible berth if they win two more,

Yeah, the layoff probably gonna cause a slow start. Slow start turns into a grinder game. Lots of TOs & fouls. Brutal calls on both sides. Looking at the talent gap it shouldn't be close. But it will be. GU 77 USF 75.

Dons have had 2 warm up games and I'm also a little worried about a slow start. Hopefully the guys, hit the gas early and cruise late.
