Jill might have just lost us the game her and her stupid reach in you don't try to pull the ball away from opposing player when you have 3 fouls. And when your the spark plug of your team.

Stupid stupid foul no common sense just bad old habits always making her in foul trouble last several games. Must break that bad habit.

Now Jill sits on the bench unable to help team.

Bad Habit should of been corrected by CLF 6 games ago. We are all creatures of habit. Breaking bad habits is important starts with practice, and CLf chewing you out when ever you do it.

Well thats it folks Jill came back in the game and immediately fouled out. If only she did not do that stupid reach in foul cost your team the game stupid fouls. No coming home for Zags on the road.

Jill needs to stop trying to take balls away from players all refs calling fouls. Have to play smarter Jill your team needed you, and you were not their.

Blame CLF as much as Jill she is the coach. Your a great player Jill you just disappointed me the end of the year being in constant foul trouble.

Zags up by one 8 seconds to go please do not send Portland to free throw line, or easy shot.

CLF lacked the killer instinct today. When you are up big you keep your starters in while they are on a roll and keep applying yourself while their hot until you get them in a 30-40 point hole.

The Wirths, Jill, Jessie were all hot the first 7 minutes of the 1st quarter, so CLF takes the foot off the gas and starts subbing like crazy. Zags don't score last 2:30 of 1st quarter. Then when she brings back the starters later in 2nd quarter they are all miss matched, no longer in on the same page, lost their edge, and no longer hot.

CLF doing a poor job coaching Jill not reprimanding her for stupid reach in fouls, causing her to get in foul trouble a lot the last 6 games. If she corrected her she would not be making the same repetitive fouls most of the last six games and always being in foul trouble.

CLF set the tone the last 1/4 of the first quarter allowing Portland to get back into the game. CLF was out coached by Portland Coach Meeks in this game.

We had one player I was proud of this game that was Jenn Wirth she always played smart, and brought it to the end.

Great game Jenn Wirth. Jenn you really brought it the last 2 games, way to play a complete 4 quarters.

CLF wasn't the one giving up the lay ins with matador defense in the second quarter... nor did she miss the free throws that cost the girls the game.... the officiating was atrocious... the Pilots won on grit and determination... JT has been playing long enough to know her game and what she can and can't do... I agree the Portland Coach did a heck of a job... but I'm not throwing coach under the bus over this game... she didn't miss a shot... it's the old adage... players win and coaches lose.... we'll see the effect when Creme releases his next bracket... two years in a row an injury has jumped up and bit the girls at the WCC tournament.... we sorely needed Katie Campbell...

    Just my opinion...

    Go!! Las Zagas!!!

Lucky for us we get to play in the NCAA tournament.

Jill you need to stick to the short jumpers within the 3 point range, don't back up to the 3 point line when your open for 2 point shot.

Jill you need to stop trying to wrestle the ball out of players hands when they have possession, they are now wise to you and you are getting called for fouls constantly.

Jill it would be great to see you actually be able to play 4 quarters without getting into foul trouble, can't remember the last time that happened.

Leeanne and Jenn make a great team when on the floor together. Keep them together as much as possible.

CLF on a win or go home game you don't worry about resting your starters, especially when their being productive. You have tons of timeouts, media time outs, refs reviewing plays, halftime to rest your starters. Only other reason to take out your starters in 1st half is if they get 2 fouls on them otherwise let them play.

CLF you should know by now no lead is safe never back off like you did the last 1/4 of the 1st quarter, you lost the teams mojo.

Ok Lady Zags all is not lost. But you have got to learn from your mistakes or you go home again after one game. Are you listening CLF, Jill, Lady Zags starters.

Be prepared starters to play the whole game, CLF don't make substations out of habit, ride the hot hand until they beg to come to the bench. CLF have the Coach Pat Summitt mentality.

Free throw shooting one of the differences in this game. Portland 12 of 13, Zags 11 of 16.

Couple of tidbits last bucket of game. Would have been nice to have a timeout in our pocket to enter the ball from half court like Portland did. Portland got their shot down in 5 seconds.

Reviewing the last bucket in bounds to Fowler, pass to Andrews. Andrews dribbled around not seeing I believe it was Anderson that made her self wide open underneath, then Anderson moved out to 3 point land.

Truong blocked Andrews easy layup to the outside, so Andrews turned it in, Jenn was really close to the basket but had position, but Andrews pulled up and made like a 5 foot jumper.

Was it a perfect defense? Well hindsight always 20/20 isn't it.
