Default Skill testing question (ie Zag Intl trivia)

During the USF game, it was mentioned that during this Zag run GU has had players from 17 countries (not counting the USA).

Please state how many countries/guys you can come up with (without looking it up and just using fingers ... and hopefully toes).

I got 15 ... Mrs GoZags came up with the 16th and we had to look up the 17th.

What can you come up with?

At some point later tonight I’ll ask the top board member to post his/her list.

    Thanks and have fun.

GZ, that's a great question. I too came up with 16 and a possible 17. I must admit though that in 2 cases I named the player and not the country because I wasn't sure what it was. The first 9 or so came quickly the rest not so much.

I’m up to sixteen, if I count a player who was never cleared to play.

I checked with GoZags and I had all correct except for one player.

My list certainly isn’t official. Just what Mrs GoZags and I came up with that totaled 17 (including one guy that was never eligible while on campus).

Any with 17 please go ahead and post your list. Thanks.

Then that would be 20 countries, not 17. 21, if you count Texas.

I don’t know who Jimmy Dykes and Fran Fraschilla were counting in the 17 countries they mentioned. My guess is they would have had Ronny as French. And I had forgotten about Germayne.

Also they may have said under Few which would take out the Bahamas.

Since Rony played Intl for France, I went with France. Missed Calum, thought he was Aussie.

At least you got to use your toes ... like Birddog mentioned, the first 9 or so came pretty easy. After that ... had to try to find the wayback machine.

I missed England and Nigeria. Which players represented those countries?

I also had the Netherlands (Bryan Alberts) and Denmark (Jacob Larsen).

I missed Bryan .... but had Jacob and failed to mention that above.

Germayne Forbes was from London (missed him earlier) .... Abdallahi Kuso was from Nigeria.

I originally listed Montana, but my wife continues to believe that my home nation is not actually an independent nation unto itself.
