WCC Conference Tourney Mar 5-10 and Ticket Info

I hope it isn't too early to ask a question about the WCC tourney???

Could some knowledgeable member outline how a "newbie" going to LV for tourney gets tickets?

Not interested in 3/5 thru 3/10, just the Semis and Championship. If individual tickets are not available
for only those two dates, is it reasonable to show up at the Area and try to buy tickets outside before the game?

Understand there may be a premium for the tickets but....just hoping. Hoping for some experienced advice. Thanks

For anything not the title game, I've never had a problem showing up even midway through the first half and finding plenty of tickets from scalpers to get in. Once in, seating is usually pretty open. I usually ended up paying less than half of face value. For the title game, show up a half hour before tip and you should be fine.

That is my plan. Have the plane ticket for Sunday and room for Sunday thru Wednesday. I have gone 4 other times and found that tickets the last couple of days were always on sale by scalpers before the last games. Mine might not be super advice, but it is what I plan. Tuesdays tickets should be easy to get from the loser teams on Monday. I am not sure about the Monday game it might be more costly unless you get it from Saturday night losers while they leave.

The Re-Seller Page : https://www.ticketsmarter.com/wcc-west-coast-conference has All Session and Individual Session tickets offered at what I can only surmise are well-above face value prices. For example, half court, Section 104, Row V, all session tickets are available for $1078 each. . .

The TicketSmarter link at the WCC website implies an endorsement agreement between the WCC and TicketSmarter.

There's a long corridor that connects the casino to the arena. That's a spot that folks looking to dump (scalp) tickets often use and I would imagine this year will be no exception.

I'm going to Vegas but won't be doing the games at The Orleans.

Go to the arena ticket sales at the top of the escalators on the way to the main entrance. I can't remember if it's 9 or 10 in the morning when the tickets go on sale. Be there early since they sell only remaining seats. This has always been a great way of finding tickets at the price of the arena and not paying scalper prices. We have done it in years past and it has worked well.

Thanks guys. Been invited to go to WCC Tourney with my 1994 GU grad son who I haven't seen in 5 years. Got two PMs I can't figure out how to open.
In 1950s we had Xs and Os not Os and Is Sorry I'm digitally challenged. So much for being a smart ass attorney.

Worst case we'll find a sports bar and drink beer and watch the games. As much as I love Zags, being with my son will be just as good or better.

I wish I could say I've been as lucky as some of you with scalpers....maybe I've just had bad luck. I've attempted buying tickets from scalpers on two different occasions. The first time, they wanted $125 for ONE single game ticket. (That was the cheapest I could find, after scouring for 2 hours before the game). I finally just paid it and got to my seat 30 seconds after tipoff.

The SECOND time, long story....but I was already in the arena in my seat with my son. My wife and sister in law did not have tickets. I told them to walk the corridor and talk to scalpers. The cheapest they could find was $100 for each ticket. They decided they would just wait until 15-20 minutes after the game started, because SURELY the ticket prices would drop at that point right...? Wrong. 30 minutes into the game, the scalpers wouldn't budge. (One group of scalpers had gone around and bought up all the tickets, therefore creating a virtual monopoly). So...anyway...I guess to some people, $100 per ticket isn't horrible? But just saying I've never gotten a great deal on tickets when trying to go the scalper route.

Hoping I have better luck this year.

And to add a bit more clarification, $100 isn't a terrible price I guess. I've just always been SHOCKED at the lack of (apparent) competition with the tickets there in Vegas. You've got all these other schools losing their games...so there should, theoretically, be quite a few tickets popping up?? But the scalpers have always just been RELENTLESS in my experiences.

It's 10 am, but you should be in line early. I've never not been able to get tickets this way. And the prices are at face value for the tix. I don't recall the exact price, but its cheaper than the scalpers.

Zaglaw is correct. The tickets were at face value for the session. Yes, session. So, you get two games for the cost of the ticket in semi and one game for championship. It was around 6 or 8 years ago when we did this. We got 4 tickets, 2 seats next to each other in one section and the other 2 were in a different section next to each other. If i recall, they were around $35 each, but that was a few years back. You will not pay the scalper prices, but you do have to get up early after a night of drinking
