I think Few was being precautious. Wisely so. But if this was an elimination game Tils would be back.

SC slowing down our game. Zags not getting fast transition as usual and passing is not crisp. I’m sure Tillie going down is impacting the players mindset. Defense is a tad lazy. I’m sure plenty to talk about in the locker room.

Thank you for recognizing the impact, on the other players, of Tillie going down. Each one of us would have some drop-off if a colleague leader suddenly went down.

Ayayi needs to show up now. He's been an anchor in that first half and is capable of so much more.

Tillie was wearing a brace on that left ankle before the injury. It was visible when he was down on the court. I’m sure he wears it to stabilize his ankles and in this case it certainly lessens the severity of the sprain.

I also noticed that when Tillie walked back out to the bench his left shoe was totally untied. I presume he wasn’t ready to go in with shoe undone. Further, rule one with ankle sprains is Keep your shoe tied to lessen the swelling. Obviously they took a good look at it in the back so maybe it isn’t swelling too bad.
Do players ever just ice while the game is going on, and they are on the bench? I never thought of this before, but doesn't seem like it's something that happens.

On the bright side, we put up 40 points while not playing all that well (smart) on offense.....
    BUT....
Our D was pathetic and we're lucky to have a lead at the half

I knew this game was going to be a concern when I saw my 9 month old pup chewing on somthing. It was my Zags hat. I get one each season. I guess I'm getting two this season.

all in all impressive start to the half.

other than a few wide open 3s, make up for it with 3 steals.

That’s why I’m not overly concerned here yet. If the injury was really bad Tillie would probably not be on the bench and regardless he would have ice on it at some point.

..no, I am pretty sure that icing during a game without an injury involved would basically undo their pregame stretching routines....while playing you want muscles and tendons and ligaments stretched out and loose...
