Arkansas has been sniffing around the Top 25 -- "Others Receiving Votes" --for a few weeks but hasn't been ranked. Curious to see how they fare at home vs. Kentucky this afternoon.

Why am I not surprised that after a half hour, none of the ESPN talking heads have mentioned Gonzaga (or tonight's game with BYU). #norespect

Agree, parity in college hoops this year so ESPN reverts to tightening the circle around the traditional blue bloods...predictable. Game day at Duke this week, Kansas next week. Like to see Dayton, San Diego State, Zags etc. for game day.

How could Baylor be possibly losing I thought they were the best teams since Indiana?

A Baylor loss would help GU keep the 1 spot comfortably, assuming we keep winning. I think 2-5 would have lost this week, most or all to unranked foes.

Sure does. In recent years it was somewhat better, especially 2017. But lots of cynicism regarding 2020 team.

Villanova is now behind by 6 with 11 minutes to go. They're not having a good 2nd half at all.
Ok State is very tough at home. They seldom lose their. I remember one year that Gonzaga had a really good team and played there when Ok State had a really good team and it was one of the best games on the Road ever, imo. Zags won in a nail biter. I have forgotten the name of that arena. Does anyone remember? It's pretty famous I think.

Familiar scene. Nova shooting 100% on foul line to clinch a game. Coaching.

St. John’s Seton Hall in an AAU slugest.

    Gallager-Iba Arena, Stillwater, OK.

I attended that game with my youngest son, it was on NY Eve. Had a perfect view of Mike Hart setting a crushing screen for Gary Bell Jr for the game winning three.

T Boone Pickens made a donation that set the prices for all tickets at $10, so locals could watch the game, and fill the arena. They achieved 80%, but it was really loud in the second half.

We got some great pictures with the players after the game, too.

70-68 Baylor hanging on with 27.5 sec left and the ball. Oklahoma State looks pretty good. Baylor not so much - at least not a #2.

Oh no! OkSt turned over the ball. Resorting to fouling and now a 7 pt loss.
    Announcer says they’ll now be #1 on Monday. What a ______ !

Announcer at the end of the Baylor game said "on Monday I believe Baylor will be the #1 team in the nation"

Guess no point in us playing tonight

Replace us in this scenario with (say) Duke, UNC, Kansas, or UK a nose in front of the #2 team and a game yet to play before the poll. I get that they're homers but if one of those teams were the tenuous #1, they'd say "[fill in blue blood] may have something to say about that tonight", or similar

    It's just so obnoxious.
