    Kennel Club & Banchero

Sure hope the Kennel Club knows the importance of having Banchero visit this weekend. Sure hope they have something planned to welcome him to the Kennel, and to show him what a game in the Kennel is all about. I believe he had said, that in all the visits he was taking, GU was the only one where he would be attending a live game. It's time for the Kennel Club to shine!

I hope they get that place rocking!

Agree -- I am looking forward to the Kennel Club and what they will bring to help Banchero have an unforgettable experience in Spokane.

I'm assuming the KC is primed both because the opponent Sat. is BYU and because they know PB is in the house (if nothing else, there are many students from Seattle and some from O'Dea, PB's visit will be highly anticipated).

Watching the SCU game last night, I saw a lot of empty seats. This was apparent on the camera shots from behind the KC. I didn't notice the empty seats until the second half. Was this result of students leaving because it was a blowout or were there a lot of empty seats even in first half?

Not sure. But it was Thursday. At least back in the day that meant karaoke at the Star.

I hope they know his name is pronounced 'Paul-oh' and not 'Pao-loh'
I take nothing nor anyone on this forum seriously in any form or way. It is no more or less than a satirical board until legitimacy is restored.

            Literally, to-may-to or to-mah-to.

There is one thing pronouncing Fil-eep vs Fil-up, yet Paulo is well, Paulo.

First of all, the young man has a strong and remarkable name.

Second of all, he goes to O Dea. Mr. Suggs, our other five star, said he liked Gonzaga because it's a place like his private prep school, felt like Family, and a place where he would be comfortable and succeed.

I think with guys like this, this is our strongest sell, in addition to our #1 ranking. "A place where you WILL succeed". Also "like family" which is where our Kennel Club needs to come up big for him!!

Is his last name pronounced ban-chair-o or ban-ker-o?

Hopefully he doesn't hear that shrill shrieking/screaming from the KC that flooded the broadcast last night...not sure anyone wants to play in front of that.

Was that positively the KC doing the screeching? It sounded like little kids to me, annoying none the less.

Any person, regardless of age, who continually shrieks to get attention should get that attention they so crave in the form of a visit from a security officer who gives them a clearly understood warning that they will be escorted from the building immediately following the next such incident. To sum up, clear warning followed by expulsion.

According to the game thread, inclement weather was the reason for the empty seats.

A lot of people left at halftime but the shots on TV were of the non student sections. I do think the students did start to leave as the game got absurd, but it wasn't that bad.

You gotta stay pretty late if you want to see Arlauskas and Zakharov play. My wife was wondering why I was still watching the game when we were up 50 with 3 to go, and that's the reason.

I thought both looked pretty good out there, Martynas especially. His confidence has grown over the past few weeks.
