He may get lost from time to time yet in terms of simple defensive fundamentals and one on one defense, likely an upgrade

On every shot he stops moving.

Not just lazy but actually standing up and just watching the shot.

I get its tough to stay motivated up 25 yet he is the last person to give up on defense...

It's the one area which will keep him from being the lottery pick he envisions himself being

so what screen/roll D are they running, how wil they get Petro involved on O to offset that and put fouls on the other bigs, etc.
