The speeches from the female pro basketball players were awesome. Apparently Kobe was a big time supporter of girls developmental basketball well before his daughter got to old enough to play.
Seeing Air Jordan crying on the podium......referring to Kobe as his "little brother"......emotionally powerful stuff.
