Honest question: has leaving the Missouri Valley benefited Wichita St.? I don't really think it has.

WSU knocks off UW, who would have thought that the Cougs would have been the better choice to schedule?

Easy solution. Schedule them both next year. Throw in EWU again while they’re at it.

Houston is the type of team we'd be served by avoiding in the tournament.

I don't fear overhyped BCS teams. I do fear the underhyped mid majors that can play.

Perhaps, but BYU beat them on the road without Childs.

    Nope.

Plus, MVC is one of the coolest things in cbb.

I just don't see that happening. It's too bad if you are a fan of area basketball and not just a Zag fan. Basketball is alive again at WSU. If CJ Elleby comes back next year (fairly doubtful) they could very well be a tournament team.

UW (even with their epic slide) is #60 in NET/#54 in KenPom ... WSU (even being on a roll) is #104 in NET/#124 in KenPom.

There's no way on God's green earth that the Cougs "would have been the better choice to schedule". At least at this point (from a numbers standpoint).

Slightly OT in regards to the scores thread but relevant to UW:

I don't recall but did the Zags recruit McDaniels very hard? Think I read he's leading the PAC in fouls & Technicals. Just about got T'ed up again yesterday for what I thought should have been a flagrant.

From what little I have seen, kid seems pretty disinterested.

I watched about half that game and I felt like UW was disengaged as a team. Wazzu definitely wanted it more but still fairly ugly BB. McDaniels appears to be just killing time on the court, it is sad really.

It would be fascinating to know how many hours of class time or class/school related time McDaniels has spent during the whole year, or since Christmas break.

I feel like the #1 team in the nation who jumped a Zag team won both of their games that week by a total of 70 points (or whatever it was) should be a more heavy favorite. Maybe this is more of a pace issue than a talent one for Baylor, but I’d expect the Zags to win by double digits.

Baylor 12-5 with 12:30 to go in first half.

Texas has no chance IMO. Can't beat Baylor with all the dribbling they're doing. You beat Baylor with ball movement, create open shots. Longhorns doing neither of those.

I was looking forward to this game. Shaka is not the coach for UT.

With a healthy 7 man rotation, we are a nightmare to match up with. We keep moving the ball until the defense breaks down.

I don’t mind watching a game where the score is 20-12 with four minutes to play in the half, but only when I’m watching my niece play against other sixth graders.

    Baylor v. Texas is awful.
