    GUnit of the Game - Pepperdine - 01. 04. 20

    STATS: https://gozags.com/sidearmstats/mbball/media

    Zags looked sluggish all night. 17 TO's, 5-18 on 3's, and 14 - 21 from the line

Crowd was lethargic. Pepperdine pushed them to the wall and the Zags managed to escape with a "W," 75 - 70.

Three wins this week, two in conference, great recruiting commitment yesterday. Good week to be a Zag

Which player did the most to keep the home court winning streak alive, in your view ?

Give it to seemingly the only dude to show up tonight.

    Tillie.

Tillie, bc he didn't let cold shooting impact that he looked like he wanted the ball and had effort on "O" and last possession on "D.

But this was a team wake up call. I hope.

Tillie was clutch in so many ways, providing spark on both ends of the court in a game where Zags seemed to sleepwalk.

if there was any doubt that block should have settled the question.

                Gilder coming off the bench.
He turned the game with 5 quick points.

Tillie with a nice game, offense and defense. Nice block on Pepperdine's last shot.

Shot out to Gilbert with 11 points off the bench and a big 3 and two foul shots in the last minute. He also had 5 rebounds and 4 steals.

In a lackadaisical GU performance Tillie and Petrusev stood out but TILLIE gets my vote for "the block"

Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
                        All mimsy were the borogoves,
                        And the mome raths outgrabe.

Certainly Tillie. But I also saw two great post moves by Time that needs to be noted. Quick and slick. Love how Tillie can take over and not allow the Zags to lose.

Thing was, he continued to miss some bunnies, but still knew he needed the ball in his hands, determination.

It was his attitude on a deeply concerning night for most Zags that made me go with him
