    It doesn't even seem possible to drop that much.

    Gonzaga is ranked 26th with 92.0 points allowed now, but 3 days ago they were 35th with 92.9. Even dropping this number by one point seems like a lot at this stage of the game. Dropping one more point would put them just outside the top 15. Is it doable?

    If you put the teams in tiers by teams that allow N points per game, it looks like this:
    less than 85 points: 3 (W Virginia, Baylor and Kansas)
    ......85 < 90 points: 8 teams
    ...90.0-90.9 points: 4
    ...91.0-91.9 points: 10
    ...92.0-92.9 points: 11 (Gonzaga's tier)

    Is it doable? I think so. They have the two games left against St. Mary's and BYU in the conference season. They are both elite offenses (5th and 14th) according to kenpom. The Zags would likely face one or the other in the conference tournament as well. Should they hold those teams in the high sixties to low seventies, it could change their defensive profile substantially.
