2021 noise?

Hey Caldwell.....any noise out there on the 2021 front? Gregg just played Bittle the other day; Banchero has been looking like a monster. With Perry commited already how many scholarships do we have left to offer for 2021?

He has a leave of absence for personal reasons.

I'd say we will have 3 to 4 open spots, if Suggs is on the team.

Why are some people so quick to bite the head off of any poster that mentions Ravet?

I'm pretty sure IowaSERE asked a very straight forward question that had nothing to do with asking why he's off the team or trying to expose anything.

I think it is a pretty reasonable question from a fan to ask about the status of a current player when all signs seemingly point to him not returning to the program.

Probably 5 spots will be open by then. Priority recruits Chet, Paolo, Watson, Bittle, Collins, and Gregg is playing his way in. Others will arise during the spring/summer.

Ravet is not likely to be on the Zags roster moving forward.

I don't know. I do know that I haven't heard that he was OFF the team

I am just against assumptions.

His locker was officially removed from the team facility. That's about as good of an indication you need.

Again, that very thing didn’t happen with Larsen, at least not that I’m aware of. You put your goal post at one point, another poster puts it at the other end. Both should be okay.

Ravet hasn't been with the team let alone at school for months. No longer enrolled at Gonzaga, and his locker was removed. He is as good as gone. Told the coaching staff he is done with basketball.

The only supposedly new (as yet unposted by multiple people) info is that Ravet supposedly told the coaching staff he is done with Basketball. Everything else posted above had been reported previously by multiple sources, with photographic evidence of the removal of Ravet's locker.

I have NO clue if it is true or not that Ravet is done with organized/formal basketball. I'd always assumed (no info at all) that he was going to transfer to a smaller program where he could star. I really hope there's no serious previously unknown medical issue or family issue, he seems like a great kid.

Information came from about as close to the horses mouth as you can get. Sounds like Ravet had second thoughts going all the way back to his visit when still in hs. Sounds like playing at Gonzaga was more of a dream of his dads then it was his. Interpret that how you wish.

Is that Zaon Collins, I hadn't heard him mentioned yet.

Any 3 of those 6 with Perry would be another great class.
