WHICH LEADS US TO: FAMOUS QUIPS FROM THE MOVIE "AIRPLANE":

You ever been in a cockpit before??
Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.
BTW, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?
They bought their tickets, they knew what they were getting into. I say, "Let 'em crash"!

The Slipper Still Fits' Steven Karr has posted his WCC preview:

    https://www.slipperstillfits.com/202...source=twitter

and provides thorough capsules of each squad, including this excerpt from his comments on tomorrow night's opponent, the Portland Pilots

This year, Terry Porter’s squad is led by Isaiah White, a Maine grad transfer. The 6’4 guard is averaging 13.3 points and is the only senior in the rotation. 10 players average double digit minutes as Porter tries to figure out who is most reliable. JoJo Walker is the only other double figure scorer, but was suspended for two games. With only one senior, perhaps this can be a growing season for Portland, and if all goes well, they can keep their roster in tact to make a leap next year.

I’d like to see Arlauskas get some playing time.

ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives the Pilots a 4.3% chance. That’s 4.3 x better than they gave Detroit Mercy. ESPN must think the WCC is significantly better this season

Off topic, just noticed that Brock is gone from the official roster page: https://gozags.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster

conference road game, hope to see Zags execute early and often on both ends to smother hometown hope from jump. can't underestimate any team on the road

challenge for Zags remains again this season the damage from any conference loss since the rest of the country can't wait to pile on about how unworthy the Zags are at #1, the weak WCC, etc. Just a different equation than most of the rest and very few if any opportunities to regain status like others get

    I'd love to see:

    - Tillie on the bench for the entire game...
    - GU begin to play much better TEAM defence
    - Watson continue to play with confidence and be the point on our press
    - CK have another great shooting night
    - Timme score 15pts and 8rebounds
    - Filip to make a 3pt shot
    - AND most importantly - No Injuries
