We were actually scheduled to play Detroit, yet once they found out they were gonna face #1 team in NCAA, they changed their name to Detroit-Mercy, so we'd go easy on em.

    Have Mercy on them.

A lot of good teams played the up and coming Zags in the early the years and it’s time to start paying it forward. They should start bringing in some good mid-major NCAA tournament-level teams.

Season ticket holders deserve a better return on their investment. It will be a challenge, as Power conferences are adding more conference games to their schedules. Given the turnover in players this year, I thought there was a good mix of games, allowing new players to mesh while engaging in several difficult games with top 25 opponents.

How does Motor City Mercy stops Zags from scoring in the paint? Um, let's see . . . Um . . . Well, they could maybe . . . get delayed by a snowstorm? Miss the game? Filip, Drew, and Killian drop 50 on the undersized Titans. Zag's guards pile on 40 more. Bench shows no Mercy, Zacharov hits double figures along with seven others. GU 114 DMU 66. Pollsters, rightfully, are not impressed.

    Roses are red,
    No controversy,
    When D-M plays Zags,
    They'll cry out, "Have mercy!"

Good effort, but this is "low-hanging fruit" IMO.

Try to sneak stuff into each of these prediction posts. Probably missed by most, but long ago in a galaxy far, far away the Dominoes sang a song called "Have Mercy, Baby!"

Three stooges on the call tonight, and we are favored by 31. This is just a tune-up for WCC play; we have two more games this week. Hope to see a lot of bench players get quality minutes.

I had no idea that Detroit Mercy was the old Detroit....a pretty darn good team with players like Dave Debusschere among others.... and now coached by Mike Davis...I remember now they used to kick our butt with Burgess on the team no less....they were really good back in the 90's....

I will apologize for my ignorance and lack of respect....perhaps they intend to revitalize their program....they were nice enough to play Gonzaga when we were just getting started in D!....Welcome to the Kennel….

They didn’t look like a 2-10 team and I respected how they played. Classy post, Bart.
