So hard to take much away from these numbers based on opponents each team has faced. Arizona has only beat three teams with a winning record (Northern Arizona, Illinois, and NMSU), all of those wins coming at home for Wildcats. GU has only two wins against teams with winning records (Oregon and Washington), one on neutral court and the other on the road. Both teams have lost to a good team; Arizona to Baylor and GU to Michigan.

The rest of each team's opponents are pretty ho hum.

It just feels like GU is more battle tested than Zona... that will become necessary since we are in enemy territory on Saturday.

    Should be a GREAT game.

    GO ZAGS

Mostly Arizona's schedule has been weak so far, but they also thumped Illinois, who just knocked off Michigan (good thing there is no transitive properties in sports).

You are right --good thing no transitive --because Arizona lost to Baylor --who lost to Washington.

True. If we beat UA it means we’re better than ourselves... that might cause a rift in space-time continuum or a singularity, or worse.

Maybe it would open up the multiverse, and the Zags would have to play themselves.

I'd bet on the Zags in that one.
                    But we don't play nobody.

My bet is on the zags. We win by 5. UNC will be a tough one next week so this is a need to win situation. Need to win 2 of these three games. Zags have won the first at UW and this win will help for seeding and rankings.

I would go with the Zags at home, but which Zag team do you take on a neutral site?

Ayton's single season in Tucson? Man, that team had talent, but poor chemistry and something was just off with them.

2014-15 counts as in the last 5 years, right? I would definitely take that team. TJ, Hollis-Jefferson, Ashley, Stanley Johnson.

edited--I would take the previous year w/ Gordon and Nick Johnson hands down, but they are outside the 5 year window

I'm ashamed to admit I was overlooking that season. He was 2016-17, Atyon arrived the next year. That was a strange year too, w/ the Trier suspension. Early on it was mostly Fr. carrying the team probably overachieving somewhat.
