    3/8/20 Team sheet summary

Quad 1: 5-2 (we lost a Quad 1 win since last week since SMC fell out of Top 30)
    Quad 2: 4-0
    Quad 3: 10-0
    Quad 4: 10-0

Current status of key teams that can impact our profile between now and Selection Sunday
    SMC falls to #31 NET
    UW way up to #55
    Pepp up to #131
    SCU down to #145

Game vs USF tonight is Quad 2 with a potential Quad 1 game in the finals if we advance. Best case profile for GU entering Selection Sunday is now:

Quad 1: 6-2 (unless SMC can rise with a loss to BYU in the semis and somehow get us to 7-2. I think that's unlikely)
    Quad 2: 5-0
    Quad 3: 10-0
    Quad 4: 10-0

Read somewhere that if SMC loses by 2 or less they would be back into Quad 1, or of course if they win.

    So... lets go SMC!

This might be a little off beat BUT UCLA with a 70+Net Ranking is being talked about as an At-Large Bid...and then there was talk if SMC lost to Pepperdine, they could be on the Bubble???

Seems like there is some rotten cheese in Denmark...

USF is going to be one heck of a challenge tonight...winning three times over the same team in one season will be more like a Quad 1.5 win to me...

Does the St Marys win give us back a Q1 win and another shot at another one tomorrow.

    - one would think so, victory over top 11 team, must move the needle at least a point or two.
    - and a loss against #2 team should not be penalized much if any.

    - zags gonna get a one seed win or lose, but would like the extra quad 'ammo' because the ney sayers will always come out complaining about the zags not deserving a one seed.

Will have to wait literally until the last game is played before Selection Sunday to see if the "home" win will stay Q1.

Tonight's game is definitely Q1 as the threshold is 50 (not 30 like home games).

Seems last nights quad 1 win helped out. Your zags are currently ranked #1 in the NET. Likely to change as Kansas picks up a couple / few wins in their tourney.

    What a “rebuilding” year.

#1 in the NET ranking during Championship week! Nice.

Surprised SMC fell to 32, though.

BYU Still holding on to #9, our home win against BYU without Yoeli Childs is actually our best win of the season. Too bad we didn't get another chance against them. I would have loved to see if we could have made adjustments after our last embarrassing loss to them.

    The NET ranking ( Gonzaga # 1 ) won't change after all.

Perhaps we will deservedly be declared mythical national champs if no tourney is held.
