I think Roxy is willing to play along w/ Bill's weirdness, which is why this partnership works and the Walton/Pasch duo was a train wreck.

Living in Georgia I get excited when the Zags are on national TV so I can watch in the comfort of my theater room instead of at my computer desk.....and then they throw Bill Walton in there!!!! The guy was an amazingly good basketball player and an amazingly BAD announcer!! WHY does nobody on the network understand this? IMO the best announcers are like the best referees, after the game is over you don't even remember who they were!!! It SHOULD be about the game!!!!

This has been an entertaining game. Several times Zags looked on the verge of blowing it wide open, but UW responded every time. Haven't been able to tie or take the lead though. I think everyone in Hec Ed is getting their money's worth tonight.

Let us NEVER complain about Heister, Fox and Dickau. The ESPN announcers, especially Wayward Walton, were the WORST ever. I cannot stand Walton.
He goes off on rabbit trails and free wandering thought and speech. For large chunks of the game, they weren't even announcing the game. I can't believe
ESPN pays these guys. Of course, I can't believe ESPN doing a lot of things that totally irritate sports fans.

I had it muted the whole game, except when the Zags made a basket. Can't stand Walton. He was talking about Bill Russell for what seemed like 10 minutes. The guy is a joke. Very disappointing.

I like Walton, but during the 1st half his on and on and on stories of the great Bill Russel were tiresome at best. During that 5 minute stretch, there hardly was a mention of what was taking place right in front of his eyes.

I don't usually like Bill's commentary but he was classic tonight. He does his research and he does know basketball. I loved the segue to Danny Ainge's golf score from Lunardis fluid predictions.
