Baylor lost to Washington, so I think there's plenty of room for debate, FWIW
Agree, plenty of room for debate. No issue with anyone saying Baylor is #1. They are as worthy as any team. But to say that Baylor should be No. 1 on Monday without ANY debate is just clickbait. (Does that apply for twitter?)

Goodman, Davis, Parrish. . .they all do it a lot on twitter, especially on the weekends when there are lot's of games to cherry pick.

Totally agree with the above but I do think Baylor should be #1 next week. They have one loss and quite honestly it was a game they fell asleep in after a big second half lead. They just dominated the #3 team on the road. I have no problem if they jump us. They have been terrific.

Baylor has the best resume of anybody. I have no problem with voters picking them ahead of my Zags.

I do a poll for the reddit cbb poll & they just jumped both Duke & Gonzaga on my ballot.

Huge win @ Kansas, wins over Butler, Arizona, Villanova, @ Texas Tech, Texas. Best resume in the country and they looked great today.

Syracuse and Virginia went to OT after a 43 point tie at the end of regulation. Syracuse scored 20 points in 5 minutes (outscoring their 2nd half output of 19 points) and defated the Cavaliers 63 - 55.

It looks like the curtains are closing on the Vikings’ season.

Dare I say, I actually agree, Baylor deserves #1.

Look at their schedule, their play, wins, losses, etc.

Their schedule alone looks like best in NCAA at moment not to mention their star power, attributes, and play.

Clemson beats North Carolina @ Chapel Hill, 79 - 76, in OT !! Clemson was down 10 with two minutes to go.

    Clemson was 0 - 59 dating back to 1926.

Tar Heels fans thinking the 2020 - 2021 season can't start soon enough

I'm a Zags homer but I don't see you can make an argument for GU over BU at this point in this season.

No prob w Bears at 1......but once Zags are dislodged there’s almost no chance to get back. They’ll always be blue blood on the rise.

I don’t care how good Baylor is. You don’t have road conference wins of 40+ and 25 pts and drop in the rankings. If you all can find a precedent for that, then you might have a point. Until then, it ain’t going to happen from 4th to 1st, leapfrogging 2 teams that DID NOT falter, assuming Duke wins as well.

I think Duke, Baylor, GU, Auburn, and SDSU will all get 1st place votes when the AP Poll is published on Monday. As crazy as things are in CBB this year, it wouldn't shock me if the pollsters take on a bit of crazy too. . .

Like Few says, the rankings don't mean much in January.

They matter a lot. That’s Coach-talk. Optics. If the Zags are 1-2-3 in polls on SS, they are a top seed in Spokane. If not, it’s a land rush.
