    Plus one.

    This two things:

    Kids playing their butts off.

Extremely well coached to do exactly what they're their to do well.

Watching the Michigan State game. Really sad story about Cassius Winston's brother dying yesterday. He's playing, but very sad situation.

Arizona-Illinois is an entertaining game, back and forth. 39-38 Cats at halftime.

Kofi Cockburn is a BIG dude. 7-0 290 lb. Fr., 7-6 wingspan, rock solid, no fat on him. The commentators pointed out that usually really tall guys have thin legs but he has tree trunks. He's kinda got the Greg Oden thing going on, he looks like he's mid 30s (although he is a 20 year old Fr.).

So, other than the steady but unspectacular TJ McConnell, PG play has been lacking for Arizona thru most of Miller's tenure. Mannion is good.

Back and forth, but UA has pulled ahead by 12 w/ about 9 minutes left.

Arizona pulled away in the 2nd half, 90-69 win. The Cats have 3 really nice freshmen. GU might beat them but should be a good game.

*Three decent games for the WCC, Withrop, Yale and Hawaii are not sub 250 cupcakes.

Winthrop from the Big South lost at the buzzer to Fresno State. Both FSU and Winthrop had decent numbers. Gaels favored by 18. Winthrop visits Duke on November 29.

St Marys loses a buy game to Winthrop ----ouch ---Winthrop just lost to Fresno State.

Close game and score, but Winthrop led virtually the entire second half.

That slow tempo offense if theirs isnt the best option playing from behind.

Why slow down Winthrop? They were plodding all game long.

Their new transfer guard from Cincy isnt ready or patient enough to ride out the shot clock.

Seems like a dynamic player, defensive guard but not being used correctly yet.

Not sure why they cant find a role for the 7'3" kid, thought he looked pretty solid at Seattle.

I like their one big (Fitts?), and Tass ok, yet both seem to be playing out of position.

Randy a great Coach yet feels like he needs certain type/styles of players to fit his preferred style, rather than adapting his system to fit his current players.

He has some good athletes but they are not the classic pick n roll, back to basket center, or the hyper smart savvy true PG, etc.

Seems they try to replicate what has worked in the past by having current players fit the mold of past players.

It may work in time, yet pretty haphazard thus far.

Grrrr, why does the Oregon game have to be at the same exact time as our game? Not fair.
