Walton is giving props to the Zags while doing another game. This man has no boundaries, I swear.

I was just about to edit my earlier post when he started singing our praises....and then he went on to repeat that UA are the best in the west "when they're on". SMH

eastcoast, I would go with Walton. He's annoying but he's a helluva lot smarter than Dogchit

He could be right, but unfortunately Arizona is never "on" in big games it appears.

Just saw this from the BYU beat writer, ballguy, via twitter:

Yoeli Childs (open dislocation of the right index finger) will not be available for BYU’s game tonight at Saint Mary’s.

    Your rumor beat the press

Arizona coughed up a 6 point lead in the last 1:47, now in OT.

Some high quality games tonight even without a large number of them.

Purdue and MI went to double TO
    AZ and Oregon in OT
Close game between ranked Memphis and ranked WSU

And then a classic Big10 matchup in MSU and Minn

Santa Clara is losing at halftime by 12. The Facebook link to the game is NOT working, I'm watching on NBC Sports Bay Area.

Arizona and Washington both collapsed down the stretch, not helping out GU any.

In OT Arizona had 2 missed shots and then a turnover in the last 10 seconds of a 1 point loss. It was the end of regulation where they really blew it though.

Dakich is an absolute tool. How does ESPN keep him? Can’t stand that guy. I will never forgot him saying that our 2017 team “just isn’t that good” prior to the tourney starting.

The Oregon-Arizona game doesn’t affect Gonzaga too much either way.
The UW hurts more but maybe helps us in other ways? (Paolo?)

It’s too bad that someone has to win between BYU/St. Marys

Oops, forgot GU beat both UA and UO. Ducks will probably finish higher in the standings so maybe that was a positive for Zags.

Nah, the games between those two have NCAA tournament implications. Lunardi has them as 8/9 seeds, while Jerry Palm has them both in the First 4 out.

Zags aren't in the game...I read a book or surf the interweb.
Hoping you have a sense of humor too!

I understand the sentiment, but it's better for the WCC financially to have multiple teams dancing.

Given the early results in conference play, I may have to issue a mea culpa over my criticism of the other conference teams. It certainly appears to me that the extra money from the NCAA tournament has been used effectively to improve the basketball programs. OOC schedules have improved, among other things.

I know it comes down to the precious money for the WCC, but I will never pull either of those teams. Looks like St. Mary lucked out and didn’t have to face Childs tonight...go figure.

Too bad Childs did not play. Man, that Tanner Krebs has a melt down every time he receives a foul. Jordan Gord and Fitts are legit.

SMC just awful the last 2 minutes; they're up & I think they committed 3 different fouls.

    Going to overtime.
