Ha ha ha Yeah! You might think so. Yet Gonzaga continues to make the Sweet 16 or better more than any other team in D-1 basketball I think. You would think, if the WCC is THAT bad, that a team from that conference would never be one of the best teams in the USA in post season play in the NCAA National Tournament. I get so tired of hearing how "bad" our conference is.

I am sure they have their reasons ($) for a unbalanced schedule...but it is simple logic that you can't compare a apple to a orange …...a unbalanced schedule will give a advantage to a team or teams.

The WCC is what it is.....and the analytics are there to demonstrate that fact .....more than two things can be true at a time.....the Conference can be relatively weak and Gonzaga can be relatively strong....those are two different things......

Pac-12 plays 18 games. Going to 20 next year with conference starting in December before break. I think the Big10 is adding or just added games as well so the trend isn’t to eliminate conference games for more marquee nonconference games. More OOC games would benefit an outlier program like GU a lot more than the traditional power programs so I don’t see it happening.

With complete schedules SEC teams would play 26 conference games!

I shure as heck would rather play Pacific than Detroit Mercy....
It's about home games. Detroit Mercy was in the Kennel. Pacific would've been on the road. Those Christmas break cupcake games are a wonderful chance for us plebians to see the zags in person. The WCC can't offer us anything more.

Washington beats USC 72 - 40. And USC is 12-3?

Light day, but I truly appreciate the daily effort you put forth to provide the daily schedule! I check it first thing every day.

USC looked awful ... when they play UCLA, I suspect lots of good seats to be available. Low camera angles to "hide" the void. The squeaks of players' shoes will be the loudest sounds in the arena. (Unless Walton is on the call!)

Took a gander at West Virginia game for a few minutes. Long enough to see their big boy bigs are not good matchup for Zags. Count them as a team I hope Zags avoid in tourney.

    W. Virginia handles OSU with ease, 55 - 41.

UTA & Tx Southern notched the "L" column again.

Baylor vs Texas Tech definitely a game I will watch.

Lots of quality games on today’s menu.

    Thanks Reno.

Surprised Maryland ranked 15, been impressed with them from both sides of the court.

Dangerous squad. Great matchup tonight vs Ohio St.

OSU going to bounce back soon after a rough stretch...just getting accustomed/used to conference play when opponents know your every move.

    Sound familiar?
