I voted for Tillie mainly due to the enthusiasm the at the Kennel the other night. When he raised his arms to get us to cheer we almost raised the roof. First night back but such court leadership! We will have to wait a few more games to see how it plays out.

There's no doubt how the vote went down here in Texas...

    Default Admon Gilder Video ...

New video interview just out on Admon Gilder. Not sure it belongs in this thread other than I voted for Gilder Jr. as potentially the leader of this year's Zag team.

    Suggestion:

Before the Atlantis Games, close the poll and record the vote tally as of that date. Then, in about 6-8 weeks, reset and re-open the poll. We can compare / contrast the vote results

and keep it all in one thread . . .

Interesting. How could this not be Tillie's team in 6 to 8 weeks. Ha ha ha He's only going to be getting better and better.

How could GU not beat UTA by 30 ? How could Omar Ballo not be on this year's squad ? How could Mr. Ravet not be leading the team in 3 pointers by now ?

    Stuff happens. . .

ETA: I hope for the Zags and for Mr. Tillie he does get better and better. My bar is a little lower. I just hope he stays healthy and is 100% headed into March.

Being the best player on the team is not necessarily the same as being the team's leader.

I fully expect Tillie to be the best player. He needs to be if the Zags are going to get past the first weekend in the Tourney.

I'm not sure that he will be the leader. Could be. Or it could be one of the guards that takes the reins and says follow me.

We will definitely have a better idea by the time conference season rolls around.

Timme has been very vocal with players while on the court.

Might be his team by next season.

Drew's an alpha dog who relates very well with his teammates. He was the leader on his AAU team, and his HS team. Given the composition of this team, I expect the Zags to have several "leaders" this year and next.

Just looked at this photo again and noticed how swollen and bruised Killian's right leg looks (at bottom of photo). Doesn't even look real?!? WTH?

Too early to tell. When the chips are down in some tough games we’ll know.
