Sorry, it's not a WCC team but your friends from Missouri St. fought back from a 17 or 18 point deficit to beat Oklahoma on the road tonight, advanced to the Championship of the WNIT on Sunday.

I am loathe to carry on about other teams on the zag board, but I've kind of followed Missouri State since the Jackie Stiles era so am glad to see they're doing so well....

Yes, Pacific goes across country to play Drexel (2-1) tomorrow. Game time is 2 Eastern or 11:00 am PST, don't know how they will react to such an early time. But they have been fighting and learning (they are going through the process GU did in Europe). Supposedly, RPI folks say Pacific has the #12 SOS ?? Not sure how that is derived. I've seen LMU, Santa Clara and I believe they have improved themselves also. But GU and BYU are still the ones to beat for the title. Good luck (no injuries) on Sunday. Will be in GU's corner yelling at my computer!

Good luck to you and Pacific against Drexel.

Zag Fans will be rooting for the tigers come Saturday.

Looking like a good day for the WCC. San Diego beat Air Force, Santa Clara beat UC Davis, Pacific beat Drexel, San Francisco beat CSU Northridge. Clean sweep for the day.

Yesterday was the opposite, Hawaii beat Pepperdine and CSU Fullerton beat LMU.

related to the zags ooc......don't look now but Missouri state is up by 4 against Oregon St at halftime..I hope they beat them because it will be another good program that we play, and beat, crossing fingers.....even if the Lady bears stay close against a "powerhouse" it says something about the mid majors.....

Missouri St. impressed me today. Tough team w/ some good players. OSU went on a big run at the end of Q3/beginning of Q4 to take control. MSU didn't go away though, kept it interesting til the end.

I did not watch the game but did notice a pretty big FT difference although that could be just because the ladybears had to foul towards the end....with a few minutes left, the ladybears were only down 6......good showing for them....

OSU had stretched their lead to 13, Bears got right back in it. No quit in them. Willard is a 6-2 guard/wing w/ a nice shooting touch and ability to find shots from different areas on the floor. Gartner is 6-4 and BIG, throws her weight around. Kind like some of the St. Marys players from last year.

I think I remember her.....I've followed nonchalantly Missouri State for yrs.....I think they've struggled getting quality big posts, until now I guess...wish them well....until we play the of course.
