Well Sylean when I open up the Women Zags BB web site from my favorites it goes straight to news so i don't see the home page. But after I saw your post I checked out the home page and CLF twitter and both places had the same day announcement.

Why don't they put out the schedule for the Northern Quest Casino for the dates and times she does her radio broadcast from their, just like the tv broadcast schedule.

Is it just me or does it seem they don't really want people to show up for this, or care if anyone is listening on the radio. Lets call it the Top Secret CLF radio broadcasts.

So Sylean sorry no info I was totally in the dark.

To all Military Veterans with Veterans Day coming on Monday wanted to say Thank You for your service to our country.

The talk show announcement was provided on both the Gonzaga Wbb twitter page and CLF's twitter page.

Unfortunately, the announcement was made the day of the show without any additional warning.

Sylean radio show is Wednesday tomorrow at 7:00 pm on 1510 am. Unfortunately for me at home can't get 1510 am. Met a bunch co-workers at Epic Sports Lounge who were Seahawks or 49ers fans last night, so don't plan on going again Wednesday.

So would appreciate it if you can tune in, to keep us informed.

ZAB, load the Tune-In App on your phone. Enter KGA 1510 and you can listen to it for free anywhere. You can get Steves radio broadcasts the same way.

I'm a dinosaur with what phones I have, enough said. No worries though will fiddle with my dial at home or turn on car (LOL). But Sylean usually comes through for us.

On a more serious note thought Eliza had a minor injury when mentioned earlier now read in Spokesman review she has high ankle sprain. Thats not good those can take a while to come back from. They also dropped that CLF said they would not redshirt her. Ouch that mean she is going to be out for quite a while.

Well guess we are down to a 10 person rotation already. Eliza looked so promising in her exhibition game, get fully healed young lady looked forward to seeing you play again.

Listen to the whole radio show. Leanne and Anamarie were on the show. CLF talked about Melody and Katie being a little bit to grabby thus getting more fouls.

Annmarie still working on her English but she knows whats she wants to do on the court "Give her everything, everytime she's on the court". Annmarie was questioned point blank about the Wirth twins and I was impressed by her real answer. She said Jenn is the more physical player, and Leeanne is the faster of the Wirth twins. Got to love honesty verses stocked answers.

Leeanne had a comical answer about who's a better jump ball person her or her sister. She said she was find with her sister jumping to start the game, but did not give a inch saying she could jump just as high.

CLF did say Kayleigh offensively is the best guard she has seen as a freshman level on the Zags.

Next radio show 7:00PM next Wednesday.

CLF talked about her 3 recruits for next year.

CLF answered a audience question about is Kylee fragile? CLF said her frame was a factor in injuries, and that next year they would try to adjust what they did with her this year. Then she said but it was just a fluke that caused the injury.

CLF did not mention anything about Eliza injury.

The word got out they said they had a great showing of Lady Zag fans tonight.

Not getting radio show tonight just Spokane Hockey game. If someone actually went to Epic let us know if any of the players were on and questions and answers to students. Oh and of course if their was any good questions by audience members that was picked.

Drats 94.1 FM guess I'm in the dark again. Since no talking about the Radio show, time for some Lady Zag trivia.

    1. Oh well Let me reminisce about one of my favorite post players. If you got the ball underneath she had a quick move to get a easy layup everytime. The player guarding her could be the same height or taller than her it did not matter. And she had muscle underneath. Nothing fancy but she could always be counted on. Those points tallied quick she is number #8 on the all time scoring list. She is what I consider our last real power player underneath. Without looking up the stats can you name this player?

She would always seem covered when she got the ball in the post, then somehow she would find the smallest of windows and with a deceptive quick step low off the board bucket in count it, she made it look so easy. More hints she wore the same number as my current favorite player on the team.

    2. Side note we seem to have a lot of local gals (Wa., ID, MT, OR) who really made a name for themselves with the ZAGS. Coach Graves seemed a good recruiter of Germany gals IE Sunny, Emma. Noticed since CLF has been coach no more recruits from Germany. Coach Graves continues his pipeline of Germany with the Ducks. Don't get upset Sylean just making observations.

    3. Transfers give up a lot usually sitting out a year. Its always hard to judge what transfers bring until you see them play in a real game. Transfers sometimes only have one year to shine for us. Taylor Karr certainly came in strong. Others were specialists in just one area. Some came in and shined for us like 3 years. One was a finesse short range jumper shooter. Others were a terror playing always with their hair of fire on both offense and defense.. These 2 players were #8 and #11 on the all-time points scored list. One had the same last name as another Zag but not related.

    4. Three ZAG girls who worked best together on press to creat steals are? They are #2,6, and 9 on the all-time steal list. No one trapped like these 3 girls as a team. Ok its been a couple of years but all of you longterm ZAG fans should recognize their initials without looking up the stats. (JR, KA, HP).

I think I read about Kayla and her husband eventually moving back to the states.....I hope so.....amazing player for us....

and I am all for us getting more Europeans especially some tall big posts.....we NEED to get strong post players from somewhere and Europe is just as good as anywhere else......we're falling behind in that area.....
