Coach Few needs 20 wins to hit 600. Zags have 20 rungs on the ladder -- starting Saturday -- to get him there, which includes 2 games at The Orleans.
That would be a heckuva story.

Why?
Please, make an objective case that he was equally as good his frosh and sophomore years, as he was his junior and senior years (after spending a redshirt leveling up against the likes of Santangelo and Frahm)
I'll wait.
Also, Corey Kispert has 317 Career rebounds, and if he equals last year's total he'll be around 400 by year end, enough to put him on the list I think.
History has its eyes on you.
Sage of the GU Message Board
Maybe Kispert can be top 10 in 3s at GU when said and done?
Qualified for 21 Straight Big Dances
11 Straight Round of 32s
10 Sweet Sixteens (5 Straight)
4 Elite Eights
2017 FINAL FOUR
2 Winningest Players in college basketball history (Karnowski 137, Perkins 134)
The Best Point Guard to ever play the game: John Stockton, most assists, most steals.

The last guy on the rebound list on this page has 593 boards.
If healthy Kispert and Tillie should both join the 1000 point club towards the end of the season.
Closing out 2019 and closing out the out of conference schedule, the Zags run past Eastern Washington in a renewed series and Detroit Mercy. GU moves to 14-1 and continue their #1 ranking.
- Tillie: Played one of two games. Five points, three rebounds, one block and one 3-pointer made against Eastern.
- Kispert: Combined for 20 points, three 3-pointers made.
- Petrusev: 46 points, one blocked shots.

Yes, as always, thank you for the work.
I have to say, and I am not at ALL trying to take anything away from what Kispert has done here, but it is MIND-BLOWING to me to think Kispert could very likely finish ahead of guys like Stepp, Santangelo, Frahm, Raivio, GBJ, Gray, ZN in career 3's made. I don't know why, it just doesn't seem RIGHT?!?!
Good for him though!
Allow myself to introduce....myself...
( Based on the GU Athletics "Game Notes" published for the LMU game )
Gonzaga's 31 straight regular season conference wins ties them with the University of San Francisco squads (1955-57) led by Bill Russell and K.C. Jones for the 2nd longest streak in WCC history.
Pepperdine (1991-93) holds the record at 32.
Gonzaga has won 35 straight conference road games, the longest streak by any Division I team over the last 30 seasons, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
Zags improved to 18-1 and continue to maintain their #1 national ranking. Unlike the previous week, these two games weren't close. GU beat USD by 44 and LMU by 25. Zags now 4-0 in WCC play.
- Tillie: Combined for 14 points, 16 rebounds, four blocks and three 3-pointers.
- Kispert: Totaled 25 points, four 3-pointers made.
- Petrusev: 33 points, one blocked shot.

Gonzaga - The Greatest Student Section in the Nation!
As the Zags manhandle Santa Clara and beat BYU, they have won their 20th game this season which marks the 21st time Mark Few has reached that milestone. With Few as head coach, GU has won no less than 23 games. That is phenomenal. GU has won at least 20 games for the 23rd consecutive year, including the two years Dan Monson was at the helm. Going back even further, GU has won 20 games in 27 of the past 29 years.
- Tillie: Totaled 31 points, 14 rebounds, two blocks and two 3-pointers made.
- Kispert: 35 points, seven 3-pointers made. Corey passes 800 career points. His seven 3-pointers move him into a tie for 16th all-time with Silas Melson ('14 - 17).
- Petrusev: 23 points, one blocked shot.

Gonzaga - The Greatest Student Section in the Nation!
Too lazy to read all the posts on this thread but it would seem like a Kispert has a shot at catching Karnowski for most all time wins (as a Zag AND collegiate basketball player) by my count. It looks like he’s at 85 wins as of Sunday morning. 10 more league games left with likely two WCC tournament games the the NCAA tournament. 15 wins seems possible, which would put him at 100 career wins after this season. Assuming he’s back for his senior year and playing with the “tricky trio” he would need 37 wins his senior year to tie big Shem.
Gonna be tough to do, but I’d put in the “possible”category. If he does tie/pass Karnowski, he will have done that in 4 years unlike Shem who has a few wins during his medical red shirt year.

Gonzaga hasn't lost a conference road game in 4 calendar years.
The last time we lost on the road (in conference) president Obama still had more than a year left in his presidency.
Do we have any idea if this is already the all-time longest road win streak in the WCC history? In NCAA history? (Maybe UCLA back in the day had a longer streak)
It has been a great three years, that's for sure. Let's hope the Zags can keep it up.
From the WCC website's hoops columnist, Jeff Farudo:
Dissecting the 33-game streak: While becoming the nations first 20-game winner and extending its own NCAA-leading home win streak to 34 games, Gonzaga also broke the WCC record for most consecutive regular-season conference victories.
The Zags entered last week tied with Bill Russell-led USF teams (1954-57) at 31 wins, one game back of Pepperdine (1991-93), featuring star guard Doug Christie.
After beating Santa Clara and BYU by a combined 73 points last week, Gonzaga sits atop the list with 33 straight conference victories. Since not all win streaks are created equal, we crunched some numbers to compare the three, and the Zags ongoing run stands up very nicely with the others:
* USF (31 games): The Dons streak began with a 62-55 win over Saint Marys on Feb.19, 1954, and ended with a 51-47 loss at Santa Clara on Jan. 8, 1957. In the meantime, the Dons:
Won by an average margin of 18.3 points
Won 3 games by 30 points or more
Won twice by fewer than 10 points
Had no wins over Top-25 opponents
* Pepperdine (32 games): The Waves streak began with a 67-61 win over Santa Clara on Jan. 12, 1991, and ended with a 75-72 loss to USF on Jan. 30, 1993. During the streak, the Waves:
Won by an average margin of 11.9 points
Had no wins by 30 points or more
Won 12 times by fewer than 10 points
Had no wins over Top-25 opponents
* Gonzaga (33 games): The Zags streak began with a 75-60 win over Santa Clara on Jan. 20, 2018 and is ongoing. The Zags have:
Won by an average 21.7 points
Won 10 games by 30 points or more
Won four times by fewer than 10 points
Had one win over a Top-25 opponent (beat No. 11 Saint Marys 78-54 at Moraga on Feb. 10, 2018)
Gonzaga has won 35 straight conference road games, the longest streak by any Division I team over the last 30 seasons, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. GU’s last loss to a conference opponent on the road was at Saint Mary’s, 70-67, on Jan. 21, 2016.
I couldn't find the metric for conference road wins at any of the sites we consider foolproof, LTown. I did find this entry on the Wikipedia "Basketball Winning Streaks" page:
I suspect that's for all road games, not conference road games only. Like you, I would guess the Wooden UCLA era had a fairly substantial win streak within its conference. Kentucky, Kansas, and others may have done so as well. Will do some digging later today. . .Men's D-I road game streaks
35 Kansas (1924–28), ended by Oklahoma

Kispert could very likely surpass Pangos on the career 3-pointers list.
Allow myself to introduce....myself...
