Not efficient on the offensive end going 4-10, 2-7 from three those are bad numbers (I'm sorry Kispert die hards). Joel went 5-7, 2-4 from three and looked pretty good on defense. My vote based on tonight alone is Joel over Kispert.
    They don’t play same position

I'd say he must have played pretty good.
    Reborn -- I disagee.

According to GoZags (http://guboards.spokesmanreview.com/...11-01-19/page4) Joel's final stats were:
12 points (shooting 5-7 with 2-4 from beyond 3 point line -- a 50% clip, which was second best on the team)
8 rebounds (3rd best on the team, & easily best among guards)
1 turn over (w/a 5-1 asists to TO ratio, best guard on the team)
4 steals (best on the team)

I think the facts are that he played REALLY well. But of course, others will say otherwise.

    Thanks for posting Joel’s stats.

"Others" was profoundly skeptical of Watson’s ability.

I think Joel fits in well with this group. He’s still young and relatively inexperienced, but has the speed and quickness which is apparently required to play on this team.

Everyone needs to figure out perimeter defense in the half court.

    Jim Meehan's game story: https://www.spokesman.com/stories/20...imme-impress-/

“It was fun because we’ve been practicing against each other for the past month, so to get out on home floor against a different team, the energy was amazing,” said Watson, the Gonzaga Prep product. “I just went out and played hard and the outcome was good for me and good for the team.”

Wondered who #35 Graves was. Not listed on roster or in Spokesman article before game. Kelly Graves son Will as a walk on. That's cool. Always loved coach Graves, can't fault him for reaching for the brass ring.

    Wasnt Watson 2-2 from 3?.
