Default Brock Ravet Taking a Leave from the program

Tom Hudson just announced on the pregame show that Brock is taking an indefinite leave from the program. Wow.

Well, that is tough and bears watching. Hope he is doing well.

For sure. Most importantly, hope he is ok.

Wow that’s terrible news. Hoping for the best for him/his family and whatever they’re going through!

Dang. He's the presumptive starting PG his junior and senior years (assuming we get Suggs). Hope whatever is going on works itself out. Best wishes young man.

I'd like to forget everything basketball and team related and just say we wish the best for you Brock. I hope things are okay for you. And I do hope you make it back, but if not, all the best to you.

It could be just something that is family related, and he needed to get back to Kittitas. We won't know until the media gives us more information.

The indefinite part is what scares me. Hopefully everything is alright and he returns soon.

His Twitter photo is black, just a B for a name, location of Spokane and Gonzaga are gone, and no Twitter action since kraziness.

Is it coincidental that he took the leave right before the first game? Maybe the staff asked him to redshirt and he wasn't having it?

I highly doubt it, we are pretty thin in the backcourt.

When Jacob Larsen left the team, it wasn't announced until right before Kraziness even though it seems as if it was in the works for some time before that. Perhaps this is a similar situation in that he took the leave of absence sometime after Kraziness but it just wasn't announced until today when his absence would be noted.

This is an exhibition game so does not affect redshirt status.

    Woefully thin.

We have 3 guys to play 2 spots the entire season. That's rough.

Few’s comment seems to suggest he’s transferring imo. https://twitter.com/samadamstv/statu...645413377?s=21

Clearly Kispert will have to play some 2.

How can you infer that from Few's comment ?

Personal reasons. To what extent those personal reasons are related to basketball I don't know.

I said imo. That’s the way I read it. Could be completely wrong.
