GU vs Alabama State - Predictions/Thoughts/What you do hope to see

AAAAAAANNNND.... here we go. First prediction thread of the new season.

The Hornets of Alabama State finished middle of the pack in SWAC for the 18-19 season. They did, however, reach the SWAC semi-finals in the conference tourney. They skew towards mostly upperclassmen this year.

What are hoping to see in this first non-exhibition game? What are you expecting? Thoughts? Of course, predictions.

BTW did we discuss scoring changes? If so, lets get those in place before I score this one.

Boy, lots of new Zags and a LC State team that's not too bad ....
However, since the Zags put up over 100 in the MSU scrimmage I'd better venture a prediction ...

LC State 65

Yeah, that's a high Zags score. I feel more confident in it than I do the 65 for LC State. Especially after last season where Few appears to not put any lid on Zag scoring. I also feel that the Zag bench is deep. There should not be much of a drop off in scoring should the bench see significant floor time.

As for thoughts ... I just hope I'm able to watch the game. I sooo want to see the new Zag players and how Kispert is playing. I was hoping to see Killian. Guess the earliest he's back is 11/5. Sounds like Killian and coach are playing conservative with Killian's knee - which is wise. I believe the team will need Killian to be their best this season.

Especially no guards. And it isn't that great a time to have two guard transfers coming off some kind of physical issues, and Timmie being cursed with injury bugs.
