Default How to watch Gonzaga vs Lewis & Clark game

Since we had TV discussions in many threads, I thought I would consolidate the information in one place:

    (A) KHQ-TV channel 6. This channel is over-the-air in Spokane. The game may show up on 6.1 or 6.2, not sure (I'm not in Spokane)

    (B) SWX. It's my understanding that you have to be in Washington or Idaho to get this channel.

    (C) the WCC-tv website. Here is the link: https://wccsports.com/watch/?id=6099295383001
The game is mixed in with other sports, Women's Volleyball, Women's Soccer, etc. The basketball game won't go live until
exactly 6 pm Pacific time. But it does work, it's how I watched a lot of Zag games last season.

I was looking at Gozags.com to check their official schedule earlier today to see if GU had updated viewing options and noticed they are offering an online TV streaming app with a 30 day trial period. I clicked on tune in on one of the games dates and found it. I didn't register for it and have no idea about subscription costs etc. as I don't need the service. Some of you who do might be interested in checking that out and reporting back.

Here is the link to register:

Looks like it is related to the TuneIn radio App

I am a subscriber and found the game on my app but it’s not clear if it’s audio or visual.

That TuneIn app is probably just audio.

Anyone know if it will be available on demand afterward?

Good question. The WCC website has an "on demand" feature, but I've never used it. I've always watched a Zags game live.

Fortunately you've got plenty of time to get out of the basement, Spink.

    Thanks for this thread Soren.

Can anyone tell me what channel on DirecTV this exhibition may be showing on?
It is their time....their team...I just get to watch. - Bartruff1

Alabama State, Arkansas-Pinebluff, and North Dakota all show up on DirecTV on Root Sports 687 and a few other channels ATSWHD 674, ATRMHD 683, ATRWHD 684 (AT&T SPORTSNET)...

but no game tomorrow that I see (as of 10p 10/31/19)

It's only on regular TV if you live in Spokane (or in that area if you can get KHQ). The game won't be on ROOT, so out-of-market viewers (like me) need to watch it on the WCC website.

Thank you both! So many new players we get to see make their Zags debut. I’m way more excited to watch this exhibition than any other, I think.

The link you provided is showing Gonzaga - Portland soccer game at least to me. The game hopefully will be at https://wccsports.com/watch/?id=6091880875001 or https://watchstadium.com/live/lewis-clark-at-gonzaga/

Edit: Found on Gonzaga page, the link points to watchstadium.com link I posted above

Default KHQ App for Amazon FireTV?

    Hey guys,

On my FireTV I happened to stumble across an app for KHQ 06 News and I installed it to check it out. Apparently there is a "Gonzaga Livestream" that is currently in the "Please wait for event to start" mode...has anyone used this before and/or does anyone know if this is going to be the actual livestream of the game? I'm in NJ so I'm wondering if this isn't blacked out for me?

If this works, I well may have to drop my grandson from my LW&T and add you!

I'd say it's geo-restricted much like the SWX App. I'm on the East Coast (of Canada) and I've always used the Stadium link/app with good success for the games not on ESPN/CBSSN etc.

My problem is that I live in the Spokane area ( Geo restrictions) but do not have access to TV. Not very good options out there for me

Look up VPN apps online that have the highest rating. I was able to watch Zags games this way when geoblocked for the Spokane area. As a side bonus I was even able to surf the Web unimpeded while visiting China using the same app. It makes your device appear to be in another location and thus not in the georestricted area.

Looks like I may have to use the app tonight. If all goes well I’ll post more specifics.

When I view KHQ’s TV schedule on DirecTV for tonight there is no mention of the Zags game - just their regular Friday evening shows.

Ahh that's even worse!! Try the SWX/KHQ Apps, although I wouldn't count on them live streaming it you might just get Judge Judy on repeat again!

Otherwise you might want to get yourself a VPN to go with the Stadium link/app, lots of options out there (some free) and easy to use.

Why everybody is missing my two links to the stream from above? The stadium one was even posted on Zags schedule page: https://gozags.com/schedule.aspx?path=mbball

I didn't miss it and those are definitely my fallback plan...I was just looking for something a little more tv friendly instead of sitting in front of my computer to watch. I've used the Stadium app before, but its a piece of garbage.

My Dish has the Zags game on KHQ, channel 6. I set it to record. I doubt that KHQ has different programming for Dish and DirectTV.
Hoping you have a sense of humor too!

All streaming options are. Ugh. Unfortunately I think the blurry crappy streaming is the only way to go for us diehards tonight. Yuck

The Stadium app is total garbage, yes. I only use it as a last resort. As to streaming a game, it's not blurry for me. But I have a 150 megabyte per second wireless connection and a $1000 Dell laptop, so I'm sure that makes some difference. My picture quality is almost HD.

I'm also a diehard, but since I don't get ROOT or KHQ, it's the WCC website or nothing. I'm not missing a Zag game!

Killian Tillie will not play tonight, but I'm sure we will be fine without him. I expect the freshmen to get a lot of playing time; Lewis & Clark is not exactly a powerhouse school.
    UNITED WE ZAG !!
