I was looking up all time wins leaders for NCAA basketball today and the top 4 were just who you'd expect, but #5 was a bit of a surprise to me. I wanted to see if anybody could guess #5. If you look it up please dont ruin it for others for a couple days, honest guesses only.
Hint: it's not Gonzaga, they came in at 37th.

1) 2293 - Kentucky
2) 2274 - Kansas
3) 2261 - North Carolina
4) 2176 - Duke
5) 1926 - ?

More surprising to me - our conference mate BYU is #11 with 1,829 wins.

Now that I’ve looked, i crunched a couple of numbers. Prior to the Mark Few era, Gonzaga had won 53% of their games. That number is now over 60%. That’s pretty impressive, but to be expected given all the winning the Zags have seen under him.

Those are all good guesses. I’ll guess Louisville due to the volume of wins they racked up in weaker conferences before they joined the ACC.

It seems like the Zags are posed to pass several programs this year and may jump as high as 31 overall for program wins.
