Thanks for the link!
I'm really rooting for Carsen Edwards (Purdue) and of course Ja Morant.
Edwards was the most dominant player in the NCAA tourney and nearly took down Virginia (the nation's best defense) - a national champion team which trailed with 15 seconds left in each of their final 3 games.
I was looking forward to following Brandon today in his first game with the Memphis Grizzlies, as they take on Maccabi Haifa. However it appears he may not play:
Edited to add: Nope. He's listed in the box score: https://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=401163121Clarke is questionable for Sunday's preseason game against Maccabi Haifa due to ankle soreness.
By the way, he posted a really neat pic to his Instagram account yesterday. That is a stud, right there!

The Grizzlies first TV game for 2019 will be Monday, October 14th against the Hornets (NBA-TV and Fox Sports Southeast). Yes, I will be watching, go Brandon!
With 9:54 left in the second quarter, Brandon has 8 points and 7 rebounds, as the Hornets lead it 32-28. Box Score.

BC has a stat line reminiscent of his college days with 16 points (on 60% shooting), 12 rebounds, 2 steals, and a block in just three quarters of play.
I saw a posting some place today to the effect that Brandon and Ja Morant are resting today and will not be in the lineup for tonight's game.

I do NOT watch the nba.....but I enjoy the highlights of BC and Sabonis....BC is so fun to watch.....looks like the Memphis Grizzlies don't get many fans but I think that will change
so proud of our former Zags.....

BC's highlights from that game
Brandon Clarke might just be the best player on the Grizzlies.

Right on cue:
BC w 19 pts in 24 minutes on 8-8 fg including 2-2 on 3’s as Grizzlies lose 131-114 to the Nuggets. Denver had 36 assists on their 49 made field goals for the game. That is some team ball.
Apparently Jamaal Murray wanted to remind everyone he is a top tier PG; NBA vets don’t want this rookie highlighting on them.

"The Grizzlies have only had 14 games in franchise history where a player has shot perfectly from the field while taking at least 7 shots...
and, having played just 12 games, Brandon Clarke now has 2 of them. He was 8-8 tonight."

"You want one more Brandon Clarke stat?
The only players in their first 12 career games to shoot 60% or better from the field while taking at least 50 shots - and 10 threes - are:
Arvydas Sabonis
Brandon Clarke
That's it."

"Rookies since 1947 with a TRB% of 15, a BLK% of 5 and a 3P% of at least .400, sorted by total made threes

He's shooting .607/.429/.917"

Oh yeah....one more thing. He is doing this now:

Clarke is the second coming of Shawn Marion - The Matrix Reloaded.
And I bet there is still some one here that thinks Rui is the better rookie.

Mods: I probably should have posted this in the Brandon Clark thread, I saw it too late!
Kind of a cool anomoly in the line for the pacers Grizzlies game. Clarke and Sabonis are each the leading players, through the first quarter in the game.

Here's a cool story about Brandon:
Why wearing Vancouver Grizzlies throwbacks is 'surreal' for Memphis rookie Brandon Clarke
Instead, he blossomed into a star. He averaged 17.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.6 blocks as a sophomore and began thinking the NBA might be an option after all.
Clarke transferred to Gonzaga, sat out a year and developed his game under the watchful eye of legendary Zags' coach Mark Few before emerging as a potential lottery pick in his redshirt junior season.
