BC hasn't played very much for several games......what is going on?....is it going to be like Sabonis in that a trade to a team that wants him and wants him to play is in the cards?

I think the in game match ups weren't to his strengths, so they sat him.

      Just my guess.

Brandon Clarke through the first 9 Grizzlies games:
        12mpg 4.5p, 3r, 1a on 46/0/42 shooting 0/2 from 3 on the year.
3 DNP-Coaches Decisions in the last 5 games.

Still not sure if this BCs doing of just a shift in the Grizzlies roster. Kyle Anderson has shifted to a 4 this year and that is definitely taking some of BCs minutes. But his shot could still be busted like last year and the coaching staff has lost confidence in him.

Either way, he is not in a good spot right now.

11 first half minutes tonight, 12 points on 4/6 (0/1 from 3) and 4/5 FT, along with 6 rebounds.

          Finished with 20/9 in 24 minutes. 8/11 and 0/2 from 3 plus 4/5 FT.

He had better stats than the starter at PF.

I do think that some of his dnp's are because of opposing team lineups. Teams that play 3 guards and a small forward wit only one true big are a harder matchup for him...or the staff thinks it will be a harder match up.

Much like the Zags fantasy of starting 3 bigs. Other teams might not be able to stop them on the offensive end, but if they countered with a 4 guard lineup, they might still win because the bigs couldn't stop the smalls.

Brandon is prone to recurring back problems.

He is definitely one of the reasons for the Grizzlies’ surge of victories lately. Playing great!

Brandon has been playing very well recently. 22 points on 9-12 from the floor tonight, up to 10th in player efficiency rating in the league this season.

+1 watched final few minutes and BC's defense was incredible. Heard broadcasters say "BC's imprints are all over this game".

Brandon was one of the most entertaining players to watch at GU and is even more exciting to watch on the Grizzlies dazzling young team. He frequently has a high +/- among his starring teammates. That last game was astonishing. I was sure Memphis was going to at some point in both halves.

That "tip" back to Ja he made towards the end basically closed the deal on that game. BC has been playing really well.
