    Default 2019 Pre-Season Hoops Tournaments

    https://www.bloggingthebracket.com/2...s-thanksgiving

A complete run-down of the November - December 2019 tournaments. Much like the college football parade of bowl games, it seems there are more and more tournaments added to the slate each season.

Two WCC games jump out at me - obviously SMC besting Wisconsin would be huge for the conference. Also, if Pepperdine can pull off a win at Berkeley that could demonstrate what level we can expect them to play at this year.

    Thanks Reno!
I about choked on my first sip of morning coffee when I saw SMC vs Wisconsin. Thrilled to see the Gaels and RB scheduling up. Crazy to think but this first game of the year & Pepperdine @ Cal could be huge for WCC to plant the seed of being a 2-3 bid league this year. Wisconsin was a tourney team last year and returns 3 starters. Expected to be in the hunt for another tourney appearance this year.

Cal doesn’t rank in same site’s top 144 teams so guess that isn’t as strong a game for Pepp as you would think. What happened to the Golden Bears hoops program!!?

Kansas’ reward for being one of the sketchiest programs around: prime time game on ESPN on day 1 vs Duke. NCAA ought to be embarrassed.

Two nationally-televised prime-time matchups between Top 4 opponents. It’s like a Final Four on the first day of the season.

You'll have better luck trying to embarrass your couch.

As much as I'd like to see the ESPN doubleheader, it's Zags uber-alles today, followed by whatever other WCC action that seems interesting. Woot woot, for the WCC, hoping for a clean sweep today!

Smile Get 'em Gaels! Get 'em!

That SMC vs. Wisconsin game's a big deal. For Saint Mary's, for the WCC. For the Big Dance. Kidddwell's DVRing that'n.

    Gaels - 82
    Badgers - 73

Hope Pepperdine takes care of biz vs. Cal, too. Kiddwell's has "expectations" for Pepperdine.

    Thx, Reno.

Amazing, but first game of the season is a really big one for SMC.

Not just for quality opponent and quality win, but setting the tone and expectations.

Friday's Washington Huskies foe, #16 Baylor, debuted with an easy win vs. Central Arkansas, 105-61. Baylor's leading scorer, Jared Butler, went off for 30, including 8 - 3's.
