    Default NBA Summer League

    Starting July 1!

Here's a link to the NBA page for Summer League: https://www.nba.com/summerleague#/

Here's some roster info for all the teams from HoopsHype: https://hoopshype.com/2019/06/27/nba...-rosters-2019/

Of interest: LA Lakers, David Stockton

Games I've got marked on my calendar: Not sure if Jonathan Williams will be on the Lakers' summer league squad.

That July 6 game between Rui's Wizards squad and Zion Williamson's Pelicans ought to be fun.

Note: Schedule edited and/or corrected from original posting. Let me know if you see any errors or additions that should be made.

I have tickets to Monday's games. According to my schedule, Memphis plays Phoenix on Tuesday. I don't think there is any one day when all the Zags play.
Tickets are a reasonable $35 before the UNLV Service Charge of 38%.

Thanks! I'll get up a corrected schedule in a few. In the meantime, here's a link to a wiki page on the schedules: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_NBA_Summer_League

Lakers just sent 3 guys to Washington. Perfect spots to be filled up by Williams, Norvell and Stockton in my opinion

FIBA Under 19 TV schedule I think on U tube or FIBA website.
Watch your Omar (yikes) Ballo play for Mali.
Aussies have 2 Gael recruits playing, Alex Ducas and Kyle Bowen.

As best I can calculate here is the time schedule for the group competition with Alex and Kyle starting on Saturday. Video on the tournament website.

    6/29 5:30AM v, Canada
    6/30 6:00AM v. Latvia
    7/2 8:15AM v. Mali

The Mali team features 6'10" Oumar Ballo headed to Gonzaga.

I would assume JWIII will be on the Lakers Summer league squad since they extended a qualifying offer to him yesterday. That would make 3 Zags on the roster...gotta love my Lakers!!

If the Lakers land Kawhi I could easily see Zach getting a two-year minimum contract. The stars have aligned for him in the free agent market thus far.

Better pick up that 25% FG shooting. 7 boards though. Anyone watch his defense??? Thoughts?

I'm waiting for Jazz to show up with a "chux" comment.

I saw in Houston media that JWill is playing for the Rockets summer league team - did not see him in the box score for the California Classic, wondering if he didn’t sign the two-way

Interesting. NontradZag, I appreciate you catching that!

Jonathan is listed on this Houston Summer League roster, but I did see where the Lakers had extended him a qualifying offer. Maybe he refused the offer.
The Lakers have extended qualifying offers to Alex Caruso and Johnathan Williams, making them restricted free agents.

Williams would become a two-way player if he accepts, which means he would not affect the salary cap.
Williams, who played college basketball at Gonzaga, saw his first NBA action last season. He played in 17 of the Lakers' last 18 games, and more than 20 minutes per game in their last four games, scoring at least 12 points in each of those games.

His season high came earlier in the season when he scored 18 points against the Boston Celtics.

Williams notched three double doubles last season, while averaging 6.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.
Oh, well... Here's an updated game schedule with the Rockets SL team included:

Zack is one of the most exciting Zags ever imo.....but I am trying to contain myself …..because awhile back..... Morrison averaged about 20 and shot a unbelievable % in the Summer League..... and that was pretty much the end of the NBA for him....

Regardless.....Norvell is going to make some real money playing basketball over the next ten years...

New face = Norvell. Older face trying to make a comeback (with some baggage)= Morrison.
I do agree though Bart...Ammo shot the lights out those 5 or so Summers ago. I honestly though he'd be back in the NBA. I'm still a bit sad he didn't.

I guess one has to pull for a player and not a team. If Memphis wanted to win Clarke would play more .

Does this mean we have to root for Grayson Allen?

I'm just going to bump this post from a week ago.

I've answered it in my mind: no.

Go BC, Go Grizzlies, and Allen should take a seat on a bench somewhere.

Yeah, a seat on the bench in the G League.
