I'm hoping Clarke goes to Boston as the 14th pick, and the last lottery pick.

    Go Zags!!!
I am hoping for Boston too!

ESPN should've shown that wicked spin move that Rui dropped on St. Mary's.

No Brandon Clarke as a lottery pick. As I said in the poll on who would go highest in the draft, the NBA goes for offense, and Brandon has a ways to go in that department. But he DOES have so much talent, that I know he's going to make it in the NBA. He has that thing we call character....Maybe the Celtics will pick him up a little later. I really like the Celtics.

He will make more money than any Zag BB player except maybe Stockton (adjusted for inflation) bc his endorsement deals in Japan will be off the charts. The salary isn't too bad, either.

So far I'm happy that none of those teams took Brandon. I'd be okay with him going to the Spurs. I am just hoping he goes to a team with a lot of character and a history of success.

The first verdict is in from a Wizards fan.

Sounds about right for a Zards pick: he kinda sucks at scoring and it’s the only thing he kinda does ok kinda.

Supposedly Celtics need a PF....have #20 and #22 to get one, why not take Brandon Clarke here! Memphis grabs Clarke and he has a great point guard to feed him on breaks! Congrats to him!

Can't believe Clarke didn't work out for more teams in hindsight.

Whoever drafts him will get a player with a huge chip on his shoulder, eager to prove everyone else wrong.

Interesting. If Boston thought they could give up 20 and still get Clarke at 22, pretty funny they got jumped over.

I think you nailed....tried to get a trade in before their last selection... backfired! Clarke and Morant will fit well once t!hey have played awhile together. Loss is Celtics! I can remember a "Boston draftee a few years ago" ... fantastic defensive center, but lacked then the NBA basket moves.... a guy called: BILL RUSSELL! Surprised Celtics didn't have more faith!

Dumb Sixers did it again. Took another UW Player in the first round, and not Brandon Clarke.

Very impressive backgrounds, all these kids. Apparently it takes a family to prepare a young man for the NBA these days.

Going to Memphis. I see a lot of lobs from Ja Morant in his future. Good luck to Rui and Brandon! I wish the Hornets would’ve taken one of you!
