Who gets drafted first?

With Rui and Brandon both (more than likely) going in the first round. Who will get drafted first?

If a team wants a hardcore basketball player. I'd take Brandon. Can't say enough about him as a nice guy and player.
If a team needs a presence with lots of publicity and excitement with a very good player, probably Rui. A Lakers showtime type kid. A lot of angles to build on.

Those two kids combined will represent this university like few ever have. Both just superior players and people. As I said earlier, when each hits the floor, expect to see good players but also an ad for this wonderful program and this University. Can't ask for more.

Clarke should go first. He is more NBA ready right now. Hachimura is a bit of a project and will take more time to develop. N'est Pas.

Good news is I'd be able to see Rui more if he played for the Spurs.

Bad news is the antipathy towards the Spurs runs deep in the TZF household.

Rui is ready.....Brandon is a great college player but imo he will have to improve his 3 point shooting to play the modern NBA game...

Rui is 18 and his potential is higher and his personality and the fact that he is Japanese are other advantages.....he is the complete package...

he will sell tickets...

I'm going with Rui. He was my favorite college player last season. He's awesome. The NBA likes offense over defense, imo. Rui can do so much offensively. He has also improved a lot defensively. I think the NBA world will love how he plays, and how he can dribble full-court like a guard. Rui will be a star in the NBA.

It’s a coin flip to me but I’m going to say Rui. I’d love to see either come to Minnesota to play for the Timberwolves.
