Great addition to Zags program. I hadn’t realized he held Associate Head Coach title at Vanderbilt. Says a lot about how well respected Coach Few and the Gonzaga program are that he would come aboard as an assistant coach.

Wow. We landed a true rising star among young college coaches. He should be a great partner for Coach Few and Coach Lloyd and a great mentor for the players.

First off - WELCOME to GU Coach!

Sorry but I must have missed something...wasn't Coach Powell hired earlier this year OR did we hire two coaches from Vandy?

Not sure... If he was "hired" earlier... it wasn't official until yesterday.

    ETA... as I suspected:

Powell has been the wanted guy since before the season ended. It was simply made official yesterday.

Great analysis, it seems like anyone who has played over there has a big head start over one who spent all time here.

But, I suspect that with Tommy being Tommy over Europe, no load will be taken off, only additional load to add to it.

    Good job.
