So where does Greg end up? My vote is UTEP, where he leads a resurgence in that great program. It would make for a great story, returning to the place where his dad had great success, while playing for the great Don Haskins.

I wanted to moderate the tone since it was becoming a bit heated. No reason to lock a perfectly good thread.

May you have success at your new school young man.... life is a never ending learning process.... take all you have learned at GU and share it with your new TEAM.... even in the disappointment of personal expectations there is a positive benefit if you look for it... Good Luck with your new venture...

Oh no! Only as hot as people’s tempers.

There you go, dating yourself again. I doubt anyone under the age of 50 has any idea of Ozzie and Harriet.

I'd make that under 65. Fifty year olds were born long after Ricky Nelson stopped being a teen heartthrob, topping the charts with "fools rush in, where angels fear to tread".

This somewhat aware (late) forty-something understands these references.

As does this late 30s person. Although I’m a tv buff.

Good luck to the kid. Not sure how good he could’ve been as a Zag, but hopefully he’ll blossom elsewhere!

Good lord, you have to be at least 60 to know who their son, Ricky Nelson, was.

No, you don't. I'm only 57 and while I've never seen the show or heard Ricky Nelson sing, I know who they are.
