How to win friends and influence people! Can’t wait to see his record against the Zags in 5 years!
Fairly certain tongue was firmly in cheek when he said it.
The good thing about college basketball is you don't have to really worry about ratings. We get to find out every year, with real results, where our team stands. So, last season we were typically rated inside the top 8 teams in the country, wouldn't you know it, the team finished the season in the Elite 8.
Previous year, sweet 16.
Previous year, championship game.
Sweet 16.
Elite 8
So on an so forth.
He was definitely being tongue in cheek and was extravagant in his praise of the Zags. I wish him luck at BYU.

He also said, emphatically, that he isn't "very smart." So he's got that going for him.
Based on the context of what he said before and after the comment, i just think he misspoke. He may of meant underrated. If it was tongue in cheek, he's really bad at sarcasm.
He's still working on his coach speak; i don't think shots were fired.
Quit social media. You'll be better for it.
Big hitter, da Llama.
It's peanut butter jelly time!
good grief...
He is a very likable guy.
He is going to be a very good coach for BYU. The best choice, IMO.
Touchy bunch we are. This new coach has a great sense of humor. A step up! Welcome to him!
It's so hard to separate the on-court persona from the actual guy sometimes. I think it was Kerry Keating who I thought was totally unlikable as a coach (I likened his coach scoul to Beaker or Legal Eagle from the Muppets) but is pretty funny on twitter in his life after coaching.
My Father and his best friend Tom Collins, started an organization called Grizzly Riders International. They would take people on float trips on the rivers around Missoula. Guided fishing during the day and catered dinner and camping at night.
They took Knight and his staff on one such trip. I wonder if it was that one.
All the money they collected went into the scholarship fund for the University of Montana.
Hoping you have a sense of humor too!
JMHO... after listening to it a couple of times... think he misspoke. Guessing he meant to say underrated. You don't gush over a team like that and then follow it up with calling them overrated.
